$PNRG shares tick up post-earnings, but what's behind the move? 🤔 Despite a year-over-year 33.8% drop in total oil-and-gas revenues, the stock has risen 1.4% since Q3 results, outperforming the S&P 500's 0.1% gain. Recent stock performance has been more about market dynamics, but strong natural-gas performance and disciplined capital management support longer-term outlook. 📊 Discover the full story behind PrimeEnergy's numbers here 👉 https://www.zacks.com/stock/news/2795294/primeenergy-q3-earnings-slide-yy-as-oil-volumes-prices-fall?cid=sm-stocktwits-2-2795294-body-22359&ADID=SYND_STOCKTWITS_TWEET_2_2795294_BODY_22359

Oil slump hits $PNRG — but the gas side is quietly holding the line. Revenues and earnings took a hit from weaker oil, yet stronger gas performance and disciplined investment helped cushion the blow — that balance matters right now. Is $PNRG a hidden gem in the energy sector? 💎 PrimeEnergy's stock is up 14.9% over the past year, outpacing the industry's 13.9% decline, amid challenging oil prices and strategic share buybacks. Despite weak oil prices, its EV/EBITDA of 1.89X signals potential undervaluation compared to peers. $PNRG slides 17% in a month — what's pressuring the stock? 📉 👉 Q2 revenue plunged 35%, with EPS nosediving to $1.33 from $7.77 in the same quarter last year. 👉 Oil sales dropped sharply due to a 30% fall in realized prices, and higher NGL volumes offset lower prices. Find out how $PNRG plans to navigate these headwinds 👉 https://www.zacks.com/stock/news/2743108/primeenergy-q2-earnings-fall-yy-on-lower-oil-prices-stock-declines?cid=sm-stocktwits-2-2743108-body-9641&ADID=SYND_STOCKTWITS_TWEET_2_2743108_BODY_9641

$PNRG Risks Robert de Rothschild, who owns 10% of PrimeEnergy shares, recently sold a significant portion of his stake in the company. According to a recent filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, de Rothschild sold a total of 3,768 common shares in two transactions. The shares were sold at prices ranging from 212.00 t o 212.00to219.7192, totaling approximately $824,266. In a recent series of transactions, Clint Hurt, a director of PrimeEnergy Resources Corp, sold about 12,000 common shares for a total of around $1.5 million. It seems that insiders, who were confidently accumulating shares in 2019, have decided to cash out and are now less confident in their company. It’s worth at least waiting for the next quarterly report before taking any action. So for now, let’s just observe from the sidelines.

$PNRG Growth Potential The U.S. energy sector has an average EV/EBITDA of 5.7x, so PNRG has significant growth potential, especially if it continues to improve its profitability metrics, which already look impressive.
