$GCTS
TSM semiconductor down today despite record profits. Its tailwind is super strong AI/data. It is raising prices, not because of the Iran situation, but because it can; it's capturing revenue out of scarcity. People look at the higher costs and think 'Iran/Hormuz'.
in samsung foundry in south korea, which has its own pricing power, tiny gcts tailwind is tier 1 telecoms and satellite provider--not ai. Even if gcts did face higher chip costs, it'd be indirect imo, given samsung foundry relationship and gcts's high margins on the 5G product. interesting times.
