$QRHC Quest Resource finalizes sale of non-core portion of RWS business Quest Resource Holding Corporation announced the sale of its tenant-direct portion of the RWS commercial property management business. "We have successfully completed the sale of a portion of RWS, which was a non-core line of business and a small part of our overall portfolio. The sale enables us to increase our focus on our core portfolio of clients in diverse industries, which offer the greatest source of growth and financial returns. Financially, this sale eliminates business that contributed to inconsistent financial performance without contributing profits, and it provides cash that can be used to pay down debt," said Perry W. Moss, President and Chief Executive Officer of Quest. The company agreed to sell the client contracts to Lincoln Waste Solutions, a part of Reconomy, a leading international specialist in the circular economy. The total consideration for the sale was approximately $5M in cash paid at closing, plus additional amounts payable to the seller, not to exceed $6.5M in aggregate, that may be earned based on future performance and a one-time payment of an acquired accounts receivable remittance amount, in each case subject to adjustment as set forth in the purchase agreement. The transaction closed on March 31, 2025.

$QRHC Waste management play looking interesting. QRHC making strategic moves with workforce reduction and leadership changes. Operational Excellence Initiative could be a game changer. Watching closely for Q2 turnaround potential. Might take a small position if momentum builds. notable article: https://beyondspx.com/article/quest-resource-holding-corporation-qrhc-navigating-the-dynamic-waste-management-landscape

$QRHC Quest Resource reports Q4 EPS (9c), consensus 3c Reports Q4 revenue $70M, consensus $73.63M. Secured eight new client wins expected to generate at least seven figures of annual revenue each, the greatest number of new client wins in one year in the history of the Company. Secured five expansion service agreements with some of our largest existing clients, including one during the fourth quarter. Added more than 1,200 vendors onto the Company's service platform, adding to our ability to serve clients broadly. "In 2024, we made meaningful progress executing against our key strategic priorities," said Dan M. Friedberg, Chairman of the Company's Board of Directors. "We added and are in the process of onboarding eight new customers and have expanded agreements with five of some of our largest customers, representing a record amount of new customer activity for the Company in a year. Further, the Company successfully refinanced its long-term debt with our existing lenders, reflecting their continued confidence in the business." Friedberg added, "Despite our success in growing the customer base and the substantial activity underway to solidify operations and efficiencies, we clearly recognize more needs to be done to address our execution issues. Our performance was affected by several factors: temporary cost increases from onboarding new clients, expenses for implementing our new vendor management system, client attrition, and weakness in our industrial client end markets. We believe the actions we have taken and the initiatives now underway will normalize operations in the coming quarters and help position Quest to drive long-term results."

$QRHC insiders have bought this much higher recently, stock down by 50% since last year, continues to fall on technical damage but what do insiders see that market dismisses...perhaps thinking longer term about large client on-boarding, rationalization of poor margin business, and expectation that PE that has sought to consolidate this space at mid term EBITDA valuation might ultimately make acquisition of QRHC which certainly is too small for public market price discovery but strategic and financial buyers are reasonably interested given value proposition of service and strong blue chip client validation, highly accretive once corporate and public company costs are eliminated so if you think about a stock beyond quarterly market dynamics and have two year pov, worthy of deeper consideration
