The Tokyo-headquartered company bought 1,000 BTC in the third quarter, raising its total holdings to 44,000 BTC, worth $3.7 billion, as of Sept. 30 Often called “Asia’s Strategy,” Metaplanet is moving into the U.S. market through a deal to create a new publicly listed Bitcoin treasury platform. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026."
