@HankHedgeHogFund So I tell everybody this, at least as often as I can. This is only meant to be insurance. The only way the Fed would ever buy back these long dated treasuries (or mortgage backed securities, junk rated commercial debt etc. etc.) is if we have a recession. That's the only reason why it should be in your portfolio. (or if you think we're going into a recession, again it's insurance) So I I would advise, if you can think of anything else that would yield better in an environment like the one we're going into, like $PDI, $PTY, or $GOF for example, then just do that instead. This is trash unless we have a serious financial crisis. I only buy it because I use it in a complex portfolio management system. I'll probably move the proceeds from this trade over to my dividend portfolio and get much better yield.

@Options_Expert Ok. Well I'm taking a mixed approach on my retirement accounts. $ET + $SPYI + $DSU + $ARCC + $PTY. It's been great so far. Maybe put a stop on it based on 250 days trailing.

@RSV_ I am catious on $PTY and $PDO because of conflicting ratings between ratings with different anylist. $PIMCO says they dont see any rate cuts till June I heard on CNBC this morning. Just saying I don’t know if cuts, raise or nuetral. And really don’t know where market is headed. I am paying more attention to divi equities with the exception of trillion dollar market caps I carry long term. 🤔

@Joshknight @DontStepOnRake At Fidelity, $PCM dripped @ $7.6665/share, which is a discount of 8.52% or $0.6535/share. $PTY dripped @ $13.2715/share, which is a discount of 5.26% or $0.6985/share. I sold all of those as well.
