$DLY $BGT $PHK $TLT $SPY For the last 18+ months I’ve mentioned multiple times to start building some long term bond exposure. DLY and BGT have been two of my favorites. Let’s look back at DLY the last year. While trillions remain locked up in short term vehicles paying 5%, long term bonds have marked up considerably. Going back to the low, DLY has marked up about 20% plus distributions. 30% Going back one year, it’s increased just under 10% plus it’s distributed roughly 9% monthly. So the return on DLY almost 20% in the last 12 months. Much better than a 5% money market or CD. It’s time for more money to come off the sidelines and get to work. https://www.morningstar.com/markets/is-t-time-ditch-your-money-market-fund-longer-term-bonds

$PHK Please run away from this POS. Save your future, just say no to Poor Hapless Kaos (PHK). Run away, sell. Sell, SELL this POS. They do not share what the earnings are. Many unpleasant surprises, share values drop without any information. Buy T Bills, get Appreciation not Depreciation.

$BGT $PHK $SPY $TLT $GOLD My post from one year ago. BGT up 22% plus distributions. While everyone is sitting on cash making 5% They could have been accumulating long corporate bonds. Basically 30+% returns in one year. It would take 6 years to get that with a 5% money market. Oh well, let us eat the cake. 🎂

@sbrowsbrow @sonicmerlin Check out $JFR $DHY and $PHK for high yield returns. I like to use these instead of a savings account for my emergency fund. Solid returns and easy money.

@Imindog truth... Man I wish I could. At best I pick a few stocks that are beaten down and have potential to be big. Then I sell, split the profits, half in high dividends $DX $PHK who pay monthly, 1/4 in index funds and use the other in risk funds. So far it's working.

$BGT $PHK $DLY Left and right I see articles suggesting that corporate bonds are the place to be. For 2 years I’ve been suggesting go accumulate grade A/B corporate bonds while they were so much out of favor. They could have been accumulated at 20-40% discounts. DLY and BGT which are my favorites have marked up nicely the last several months. They were yielding above 12% and they both are still yielding 8-11%. More upside still remains, but the huge discounts are gone now. Many folks told me I was crazy. Ok, they can leave their money in a CD at 5% until the banks only pay 3.5% Then it’s too late to grab those funds I mentioned when they were hated. Being a contrarian investor isn’t for everyone, but it’s working for me. Look at all the distributions the last two years and where is the price? That’s nice. 👍 @junior2305 @MMaker1 https://www.forbes.com/sites/michaelfoster/2024/04/06/how-to-tap-steady-9-payouts-as-the-bond-market-booms/?sh=2e821149164f
