$USPH Digging USPH's strategy. Clinic expansion looks solid with 103 new locations in 2024. Management seems sharp navigating Medicare challenges. Workers comp biz gives nice diversification. Might add to portfolio on next pullback. PT market growth looking promising. great article: https://beyondspx.com/article/u-s-physical-therapy-nyse-usph-a-resilient-provider-navigating-the-evolving-healthcare-landscape

$PACS Keep an eye on healthcare service provider stocks - it is NOT a "growing" industry - it's difficult to maintain profitability, particularly in specialty sectors like physical therapy - See $ATIP (delisted) and $USPH (with an absurdly high trailing PE of 108 - that's a tech stock number, not a low margin physical therapy business number). Additionally, the labor market for providers (PTs and PTAs) is terrible - way more jobs than providers available. No providers = less revenue and less revenue growth. An appropriately valued healthcare service stock might be something like $SEM - the stock price is in the appropriate stratosphere for the business that it is in. This market is a weird one.

$USPH Growth by acquisition - just like the old HealthSouth - financed with debt. This company is trading at a multiple of 103 - for a physical therapy company? That's nuts. EZ short.

Accumulating large positions in the below basket of stocks. These stand to benefit the baby boomer generation gets older. Due to the financial strength of the generation, I believe more will opt for in home care vs nursing homes. The care will likely be managed by their Gen x/millennial children who will want the ease/convenience of tech enabled platforms. $USPH $BTSG $EHC $ASTH $ADUS
