$SPH a nice cup and handle formation setting up in the daily chart, I took a small position in the stock a week ago. Doubled down today. This stock is trading at a good price too, 1X sales, 2X BV, 10X earnings. The company has interesting avenues to revenue growth in deregulated energy markets with Nat Gas and electricity generation, and in bio-diesal and hydrogen fuels. A short term trade with a sound fundamental longview. This looks like a good spot to establish a position in the stock. I'm long at 20 a share.

closed my position in $MGPI a dollar above my stop, took a small gain on the trade but no follow through on the breakout. I still like the stock but like $SPH more and am putting on a trade in $BE -- its setting up how I like, with the 5, 10 and 20 day MA's all converging in a daily trading range. The long-term uptrend is confirmed with the 50, 100 and 200 day MA's all in order. Long at 154 a share, lets see how it goes.

$SPH the situation out west with the drought and record low snow-fall in the mountain is concerning for a region that relies on hydro-electric power. I was reading that reservoirs are very low. Lower water levels and higher temperatures are warming the waters to a point where they are ineffective at cooling the turbines and this effect has potential to cause a significant disruption in the generation of electricity. Id say propane stands to benefit in a big way if warmer weather trends continue to reduce percipitation and reservoirs continue to decline.

$SPH reading the 10K from Suburban Propane, this company really has me interested. It generates the majority of its revenue from propane, a by product of petroleum refining. I am thinking that propane fuel supplies should be in good order for decades. I was also thinking that solar power, in a way, benefits Suburban Propane. With populations potentially dispursing more into undeveloped areas where nat gas isn't available, propane is a viable option. Solar power and propane is an ideal off-grid energy solution. That business is well developed and $SPH is in a strong position. They are also in position to increase their business in natural gas and electricity markets. They currently serve around 25,000 customers in the deregulated markets of New York and Pennsylvania. Only eight states are currently deregulated in both electricity and natural gas. It makes sense that $SPH could stand to gain significant business if energy markets deregulate nation wide.
