$MVIS There must be a reason why the $VLEEY Valeo top manager wanted talk immediately at IAA to Microvision CEO. 1) 30-60 minutes is too long for smalltalk only. The Valeo representative man was from France - so from the Valeo higher management. Valeo headquarters are in France while lidar development and manufacturing is in Germany. French companies are strictly hierarchical - means that ALL decisions will be done in France, none of relevance in Germany. 2) This was at in the morning of the first IAA day. So, it was urgent for the Valeo manager to meet the Microvision CEO. 3) Is it usual that high level management of lidar companies speak with competitors? I do not think so. I think Mr. Russel from Luminar would have never talked to a Microvision CEO. So: Why is Valeo in contact with Microvision? Microvision (Ibeo) employees developed Valeo Scala 1.
