$TKOI Researchers at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) have discovered that Wi-Fi routers can “see” people as accurately as cameras.
Wi-Fi waves bounce off human bodies, allowing AI systems to identify who’s in the room and what they’re doing — with up to 100% accuracy.
The concerning part: radio signals aren’t encrypted, meaning reflections can be used to reconstruct detailed human shapes without any cameras or special tools.
