Since I promoted
$IMG.X so much I feel it is necessary to announce that I’ve had a change of mind. It really did seem like the perfect concept but unfortunately it was corrupted from the start. I was under the impression that the code could not be changed, that the devs threw away the key after creating this masterpiece.
Not only were there likely nefarious devs who skimmed money from what holders received in rewards. They had a key that was passed on to the new owner, and this key allows for changes to be made to the protocol, including pausing rewards, which originally were programmed to be sent every 5 minutes.
I understand why the new owner and devs decided to pause rewards while they revamp and reboot
$IMG. But that’s not the point. I fell in love with this project, because I believed the token was immutable and nothing could be changed and now that I know it is possible to make changes—it requires trust...⤵️
