@AberamaGold On AMC for example, outside of events like news or earnings, nearly all of this volume is from funds balancing their indexs that AMC is a component of. $IWM and $VB for example. Making those trades in the dark pools is most often cheaper than the "lit" exchanges.

$CHWY FTD's still need to get cleared. They may have been cleared from CHWY, but they were filled by shares borrowed from $XRT and $VB. Would've been easier if they just sent our orders to the market. Now, you get to juggle more bullshit Citadel Securities. Good job. Don't drop anything! Might lose your entire life's work! It's amazing how dumb "smart money" is.

$VTI I think played around with my own version of VTI and created one with more small cap exposure than mid cap. Have a feeling small caps will be interesting next two years and hopefully beyond. $VOO $VB

Everyone, stay calm. Can’t turn off the buy button for what was bought and failed to deliver (miraculously we don’t have liquidity problems. HUH!)
$XRT and similar funds like $VB can’t be used to HIDE FROM THE SEC FOREVER!

@soldierofcourage they absolutely are. MMs move funds from one hand to another, and shake it to the top and bottom to get the shares they need.
The fact that we swing so much on such little volume suggests that there aren’t many shares floating around.
That’s why they rob $XRT and $VB

$VIX $GME can’t believe VIX closed green today. There’s a storm brewing.
$CHWY got hosed by $VB unit creation (I believe) today. At the VERY END OF TRADING! $XRT just redeemed a ton, and they shorted it INTO REDEMPTION.
Mag 7 looking increasingly shaky.

$GME they’re using $XRT and $VB right now, I think. Weird action here and on $CHWY. Yes the broader market is down, but these are being quelled.
$KOSS getting fucked with a LOT through VB creation it seems too.

Small caps tend to lag larger caps during secular bull markets and tend to outperform large caps during secular bear markets on the SPX. $IWM $VB $IJR

But this fund, $SCHA the Schwab U.S. Small-Cap ETF has 16.7 Billion in assets for which the company should be eligible for inclusion. $XXII Just went ALL-IN on $VSMAX/$VB (mutual fund and ETF version) across all my tax-deferred accounts. I'm not sure if I can handle the volatility. Far bigger positions there than here. My trades for the rest of the year is $VSMAX/$VB (small cap value). Max out 401k ($23k), max out HSA ($3,850), then max out SEP IRA (up to $69k) in my tax deferred accounts. That's 30%-40% insta-gains as soon as the bank transfer hits due to tax shield. Then start shoveling it into the ETF version $VB in all my AFTER tax accounts -- now that I have a "Do It Yourself" Roth IRA tax free account due to XXII losses, lol. Will start up on options trading and other nanocaps again soon. Strangely feel liberated having that tax shield for a while. I anticipated it'll run out soon. 😉😉
