$SPY European CB should CUT in June to to avoid falling behind inflation???? Does this even make sense? EU should RAISE to get ahead of inflation instead. $dxy $gld $tip https://www.cnbc.com/2024/04/18/european-central-bank-should-cut-rates-in-june-ecb-policymaker-says.html

$TIP Finally dumped this turd from one of my retirement accounts. Only people making money on this turd is Blackrock and the government. Their definition of inflation-protected is a misnomer.

$SPY So called "experts" have been calling for rate cuts since LAST YEAR. Yet, here we are with inflation. Where's the call for rate HIKE??? $uvxy $dxy $tip

User Image technocp Posted - 2 weeks ago

Wait, so you're telling me the markets are heavily inflated and crash on the tiniest bit of data? Nooooo. If you're not taking some off at ATH what are you waiting for. You knew last weekend when all the analysts on Bloomberg stopped saying recession and starting saying buy that the wheels were about to come off. $SPY $QQQ $TIP

$TIP You're joking right with 0.06/share dividend; first one in 3 months? I thought these were inflation protected bonds? Paying less than 1%/year seems illegal.

$BND $TIP $SPY for short term day and swing trades I still like the long side. But for my longer term holdings I'm moving more into Tips and Bonds. Stocks are priced for a ultra soft landing; Any deviation from that will be ugly for stocks.

$SPY Here I thought the Fed was data dependent, but downplays recent inflation uptick. But then says they are potentially ready for rate cuts if data supports it. Well, data says INFLATION. Where's the rate hike? Do you not see gold at 2200? $tip $gold $uvxy $dxy

User Image LetsgoRandy Posted - 03/20/24

$SPY Rate cut has been talked about since LAST YEAR. Zero cuts and they are STILL talking about a rate cut. Really? Raise the rates already! $dxy $uvxy $tip

$SPY $TIP $TLT $UVXY $XLF higher PPI either means companies pass on higher prices to consumers or they maintain prices and lose margin. Either way the market should be affected. And yet it’s not.

User Image LetsgoRandy Posted - 2 months ago

$SPY PPI is a business-to-business manufacturing pricing index. So PPI being higher than expected doesn't impact consumers YET, but when those more expensive goods are shipped to distributors, retailers, then consumers, CPI will reflect MUCH higher inflated prices. Next CPI data should be even higher going to summer months. $uvxy $xlf $tlt $tip
