$SPY $QQQ $IWM $SPX If you talk to the average adult, they don't even know the formula to properly calculate how much they can afford monthly for a vehicle. Simple math: your annual income X 0.08=? ÷ 12. There are adults right now making 54-62K a year, financing a car that they're paying over 1k a month for while asking for student loan forgiveness on the tax payers' dime. I'm a believer that pain is the best educator, and bad financial decisions shouldn't be "forgiven." This entire "I want to keep up with the Jones'" mentality the society has adopted isn't exhausting, it's the apathy that comes with it. If you want to cut off your own hand, by God, go for it! But, don't cry "poor me" when the job is done.

$QQQ I'd like to take a moment to address the elephant in the room that talking heads and technical analysts who tout a Broadening Top (Marketwatch) or correction (CNBC) seem to be missing. The "correction" / "Broadening Top" they are pointing at is actually a Rounding Top formation which, technically speaking has bearish implications. Meaning, if you are of the "things will get better" or "we're going to bounce from here" persuasion then I'm sorry to be the bust to your boom, but, given the parameters and rules that comprise technical analysis, we're headed further down or due to "correct" a bit more before we retest or exceed recent levels / ATH's. While this is my sentiment, it's important to acknowledge that the market's future direction remains uncertain. However, in my experience, Rounding Tops often precede further declines.

$QQQ lol, I just saw that trump was saying the Nasdaq was manipulated from high-ranking blah blah blah. NO. I didn't finish reading it. I told countless people mid-March that this looked like capitulation, followed by a down market. Market is/ was supposed to do this, according to my criteria 💯 The natural ebb n flow. Could go up 1-3 days followed by more down. He either doesn't know how to read the charts, or he's lying again to bring out the fear in people, trying to show, he's not one of them. Trying to protect you against them. News flash - he's the worst of them.

$QQQ People should be somewhat happy the Nasdaq is undergoing a correction. It's been running extremely hot for the last year and a half. This correction was kind of inevitable. It'll give people a chance to buy low and ride the next wave up. At current prices, it's been way too risky to enter new long positions.

$QQQ $SPY $DIA While the crash of 1929 curtailed economic activity, its impact faded within a few months, and by the fall of 1930 economic recovery appeared imminent. Then, problems in another portion of the financial system turned what may have been a short, sharp recession into our nation’s longest, deepest depression. From the stock market crash of 1929, economists – including the leaders of the Federal Reserve – learned at least two lessons. First, central banks – like the Federal Reserve – should be careful when acting in response to equity markets. Detecting and deflating financial bubbles is difficult. Using monetary policy to restrain investors’ exuberance may have broad, unintended, and undesirable consequences.
