once the jury has ruled, each party should be aware that the judge is interested in being able to write a clean final judgement. I think shareholders should demand the breakdown of the R&D expenditure Does anyone know what the Net Income of the NTS division ( to be acquired) is. They’re changing their business model to cloud storage, cybersecurity etc and continuing to pursue defense of their IP The company they acquired already has earnings 3x $PALT with continued growth projections. They still have over 12 million cash, zero long term debt, at least 22 million from $CSCO on the way and possibly more with future patent defense from $GOOGL and others. I’m still very bullish. With a small cap stock that’s great news.

cisco within 6:21-cv-00757 will now start appeal, could mean up to 18 month of unvertainty 🫤 If you consider the success of the lawsuit with around 60 million in damages, paltalk could have room to manoeuvre in the coming years, be debt-free, buy up smaller companies, as it did recently, and increase sales figures. the technological development of the original conceptual technology is at an impasse, cisco’s judgement could be the only really valuable financial gain on patent IP Patent protection has expired 😞 no new developments have followed So if the damages investigation/method survives the appeal and the jury award actually goes to $palt ,the years of fighting for recognition will have paid off, at least a little

Applying the weekly average 1-year constant maturity Treasury yield for the week ending on October 8, 2024, the annual post-judgment rate is 4.13%. Applying that rate to the judgment award of $65,720,700, the applicable daily rate for post-judgment interest is $7,412 per day. The daily rate does not include post-judgment interest on any prejudgment interest amounts. Cisco objects to Paltalk receiving prejudgment interest, and Paltalk’s Motion to Amend the Judgment to add prejudgment and post-judgment interest is pending at Dkt. 226. If the Court awards Paltalk prejudgment interest, Paltalk will submit updated post-judgment interest calculations.
