$BTU this place is dead now. good thing or bad? no idea. dont even see turd ferguson around i still have a few shares but ive slowly been trimming over the last year or so. put on a decent size tesla short thats doing well (and i really want to double down on it). embarrassed to admit how bad my nvda short blew me up. i covered at 400ish though, luckily, couldve been a lot worse. i want to put a revenge short on NVDA and SMCI, but TSLA seems like easy money rn.

$BTU Fwiw I’ve found buy-writes can also be an excellent way to oversize a position in your buy zone. I started buying VALE. Started at $12.20 and keep adding. Average $11.99 Yesterday I did a bunch of buy-writes at long $11.68 and sold $$11 May calls at $11.95. As you do these your average buy cost lowers too. In May if over $11, the calls will sweep away all my high cost stock and I’ll be left with a nice chunk of the lowest priced shares of that period bought. I’ve done this a few times with stubborn NG stocks as rallies are small. It’s saved my bacon a few times. Thoughts to improve this?

$BTU I really like doing buy-writes here. When you annualize the premium of doing deep itm calls sold can be quite remarkable. A nice add in occasionally to a existing long position. I did $21-$22 covered calls for May. This is an average of all my buy-writes. Beats sitting in a money fund.

$BTU PEs a low single digits won’t expand. So Fcf goes to reducing shares and dividends making a excellent base. I think of them more as a highly profitable utility. Not a bouncy stock much.

$BTU I remain bullish on coal. Coal reduces poverty and where we're headed we're going to need the CEIX, BTU, ARCH, ARLP, AMR, SXC, HCC. Wondering if HNRG is going to revive Sunrise Coal after their impactful layoff last quarter. Waiting for the coal dust to settle a little. None of the aforementioned companies, except AMR have positive revisions in the six broad, consequential categories. AMR has revised upward Adj. EPS, and EBITDA only. EPS, GAAP down to 11.20 from 12.00. There is an entry for me on the horizon once blue skies & macro tailwinds emerge. I think the ESG mafia, in full retreat, has met their Kennedy Administration. The zealots hijack 'weather' daily despite the frantic anthropomorphic huge carbon footprint they leave behind.
