$VICR Gift prices come September, wouldn’t sell for under 4Bill EV but some burned tutes trying to punish PV with a low print- remember, someone has to sell the low! Gross margin up in the qtr, when they hit 500mm Gross Profit in a few years, I imagine PV will be hailed by the same haters now. No matter what, Q3 will be a major catalyst

$VICR Vicor price target lowered to $35 from $40 at Craig-Hallum Craig-Hallum lowered the firm's price target on Vicor to $35 from $40 and keeps a Hold rating on the shares. The firm notes Vicor's report and guide were as expected, as 2024 continues to be a transition year. Craig-Hallum remains constructive on the technology differentiation of Vicor's 2nd gen VPD, or vertical power delivery, technology, but wants to see design wins and clearer signs of competitive separation.

$VICR Notes from the call: 3x power density over competitors with the 5G vertical power units, which are specially designed to be a critical component of Ai data centers. Test 5G units delivered to top 100 customers this Q. Sample 5Q units to ship in Q2. Pending IP litigation, trial beginning next week, carries the potential for big licensing revenue. Potential to have new factory and fab at full capacity by 2026, which would earn 1B+ annual revenue as soon as 2026 with a big step up in 2025 as production and sales begin to rock and roll. This is a transition year, in that the focus has been on solving problems and getting the new factory and chip fab in squared away, which it now supposedly is. Doesn’t seem like a good stock to own in 2024. I will slowly accumulate shares on dips with goal of having a full position by the end of this year.

$VICR Seems like two more bad quarters before the 5G story becomes clear here. And that doesn’t mean it will turn out to be a good story. But if 5G products do perform as advertised and the company can ramp production, this will turn out to be an AI sleeping giant. I’m going to take a gamble here and start slowly building a speculative size position here. Nice and slow.

$VICR The story is interesting here. No position. Seems like 5th gen product line, if they can actually deliver as promised notwithstanding known delays, will be a game changer for growth in profitability. Question is, did they miss the product cycle and permanently lose goodwill of its customers who were forced to buy undesirable alternatives? If the answer is no, then this could be a huge AI beneficiary. I have a lot more work to do here.
