Had $SGHC done a high-profile integration deal, bought a bigger slice of unprofitable US market share, or went on an acquisition spree, I doubt the market would have rewarded its stock for it over the last year. I argue that it would have likely been penalized, see Entain and Penn. Not even the sub-sector leader, Flutter, which did a US listing for the stated purpose of unlocking shareholder value, outperformed the market over the same period. Feels like SGHC should have done more to aid the proper functioning of its stock; however, without being able to identify the specific course of action that, if taken, would have caused the stock to properly function, such feeling falls short of legitimate criticism. That is actually nothing more than whining. Go ahead and whine if you must, just don’t confuse it with legitimate criticism.

$SGHC Been seeing value the market hasn’t seen for years here. Much of that time, I made the midwit mistake of summarily dismissing the market’s treatment of this stock as a fleeting product of the herd’s “first-order” thinking, as opposed to a more durable product derived from my own “deeper thinking.” Big—cringy—mistake. In an effort to avoid that, I’ve adopted a process aimed at earnestly trying to understand why the market isn’t seeing the value. It involves me ironically enjoying the PA horror-show. Seems like pure emotional cope, but it actually isn’t. Given my senes of humor and natural inclination against taking myself too seriously, the most personally enjoyable method of completing the above-described process that I can think of is to take my best shot at outrageously roasting my own sincerely held bullish thesis. It isn’t a perfect method—I’m sure it’s annoying to others—but works for me. All work is easy work. Holdin’ Super Dupe and ready to add more at lower prices.

$SGHC The one that hasn’t participated in the historic market recovery. The debt-free, profitable one. The one with the lowest multiple in its sub-sector. Yeah, that’s the one that must go down more than rest upon any market pullback. The weak one. Punk that little bitch out. It either likes it, or it’s too weak to do anything about it. Makes no difference.

$SGHC $MP $NU Intraday $SPY reversal sent Karens to DEFCON 4. Now they feel duty-bound to complete the yeoman’s task of making their hysterical concerns your investment problem. You don’t have to let them. Instead, you could simply lookup how long it’s been since the last 5% or more market correction, and then consider that information within the following historical context: Just about every year since 1980, the market has experienced a temporary decline of 5% or more; and On average, a 5% decline in stock market prices has occurred 4.5 times a year over the same period. Then, you might want to thank Karen for sharing their interesting opinions, and followup by politely assigning them the task of fetching you a beverage of your choice. That’s for their own good. Their extreme emotional fragility requires constant reassurance of the fact that a serious adult is at the helm, which is what they need to calm their nerves and feel safe.

$SGHC Following further discussion regarding the confounding bearish argument I posted about yesterday, I believe I now have an adequate understanding of it. Resolving every intimation in favor of the bearish stance, as I understand it to be, here is my good faith effort at persuasively restating, arguendo, the subject allegation: Mr. Moshal and those with him are milking SGHC of cash by way of their pecuniary interests in SGHC’s suppliers and vendors, and thus prefer SGHC’s stock to remain beaten down, closely held, and illiquid because that reduces the likelihood of having to answer to an unaffiliated big dog shareholder, which would pose an intolerable threat to the Moshal Gang’s self-dealing Gravy Train. I disagree. Karen, crispy Diet Coke! Please don’t forget the chilled glass straw this time. Crushed ice and chilled glass cup are only 2/3 of the crispy soda equation. Thank you. I don’t know what I would do without you.

$SGHC I’m confounded by a bearish argument that’s been made several times here, other places on the internet, and in personal conversations. That worries me because one of the changes I’ve made to my investment process is to consider all seemingly legit bearish arguments made against my investments to a degree that allows me to restate the same more persuasively than was conveyed to me. Essentially, here is the argument I’m incapable of persuasively restating: Mr. Moshal is motivated to keep SGHC stock price low so he can continue to milk SGHC of cash by way of self-dealing. Makes no sense to me because: (1) I don’t understand how a depressed stock price could aid, facilitate, or otherwise further his purported self-dealing; and (2) Given the notional value of his constructive SGHC share holding, I don’t see how he could be rationally incentivized to self-deal for relatively small gains to the determinant of his much bigger financial interest in SGHC. Please tell me what I’m missing?

$SGHC is low debt because it's very diluted It is profitable, but per share wise minuscule numbers Illiquid stock Majority ownership by few, who can enrich themselves through deals made by this company, deals that are profitable for the, counter party, separate business interests of the owners while unprofitable to this company. Typical worse case scenario, third world hazards of investing in majority owned public companies Probably low debt because no one would want to lend them money Owners probably also own marketing companies for whom SGHC is a "client" Sue them please

$SGHC $NU $MP $SPY Sharing this recipe as a Good Friday market holiday tradition. Given the significance lamb holds in Christian, Jewish, and Islamic cultures, this is prime time for lamb recipes. Bapo’s Smoked Lamb Shawarma The night before, dry brine bone-in lamb shoulder by coating entire surface with Siracha Sauce—for glue—and equal amounts of the following ground spices: non-iodized salt; black pepper; cumin; paprika; coriander; cumin; ginger; garlic powder; turmeric; cardamom; oregano; and cinnamon. Refrigerate. For a 10-pound bone-in lamb shoulder, cook indirectly over applewood smoke at 225F for seven hrs. Wrap and seal shoulder in foil pouch, cook in oven at 225F for three more hrs. Keep in sealed pouch until serving. To serve, discard bone and excess fat, mince remaining meat, and throughly mix in its own juices. Tender, juicy, smoky, slightly gamey goodness that’s perfect alone or in wraps. Amp it up with Tahini sauce, garlic sauce, pickled turnips, and tubule.
