$ORGN hopefully Rich finally buys at this price (and it was suggested on the call that he still plans to) and then the next catalyst should be a "commercial production" PR by the end of the year, then after that customer reveals and at Q4 earnings revenue guidance for Q1 earnings. I think the market is just being super short term focussed right now since (barring a surprise) there probably won't be any news until that commercial production PR. Super frustrating but if they execute on all of that then hopefully we start seeing new 52 week highs again and will finally have recurring revenue + revenue growth.

$ORGN I read then reread the 3rd Q report to try and understand how this report was so bad, that $ORGN lost 14 % of its market value. The report stated that commercial production is starting this quarter and that the CapForming System with its sophisticated thermoforming technology is working. This system will allow $ORGN to be profitable by the first half of 2026 .

$ORGN nothing has changed since September except that Origin is closer to commercial production, closer to partner reveals and closer to first real recurring revenue so how does -40% make sense? Shows how much the price action is determined by sentiment. Didn't think we would see this price again but knew that most of the good stuff would be happening more between December to February. I'm still hopeful that most of the below will eventually happen, though obviously the furanics stuff is all on the back burner while they focus on becoming cashflow positive, a good thing for them to finally be laser focussed on. Can't deny they have promised way more than they have delivered on over the past few years but hard to see how they can mess up on what is just basic manufacturing, and imo the furanics stuff they have worked so hard on for the last few years is just in hibernation so one basically gets that optionality for free right now. Also at this price Rich should finally buy.

$ORGN Selling after that earnings call is like calling off an engagement because your wedding date is on schedule and on budget, but the days aren't getting here fast enough. All this speculation about biomass tech being broken is also BS. Biomass is risky for a whole host of reasons, and it makes a lot of goddamn sense to aim for quick and easy revenue streams like caps instead of betting the farm on getting biomass going a few years earlier. People are either idiots for investing in something they don't understand, or they are idiots for panic selling over share price fluctuations.

@MeowMeowFuzzyFace - The problem is, they bought the CapFormer from the same company that supplies the whole industry. That industry is completely saturated by companies much bigger than $ORGN with much more experience in serving this market and in manufacturing caps & closures. It all comes down to whether $ORGN has a defensible Patent position that prevents larger, more capable competitors from addressing emerging demand, and how robust that demand is.
