@WornAndBuffeted exactly right which is why I’ve taken a small position in $PCT. Their plant Is shut down while they implement changes to fix the problems they have run into. If they can solve their problems and scale the business it would be a game changer for plastics recycing

$ORGN Sometimes you just gotta buy it back. ORGN still trading below cash. $PCT is also a total "save-the-world" spec and it trades at $1.5 billion enterprise value despite plant that doesn't work. Same valuation would put ORGN at $10/shr. Boom!!!

@Renewables really depressing. I honestly thought much more was being recycled. Keep your eye on $PCT. They still have lots of technology problems to work (listen to the last conference call) but IF they can figure it out the business will be huge over time. Of course it will take years and tons of capital to build all of the necessary plants. Hardware is hard!

$PCT so there was a short report where they flew a drone over the company? How did the company respond?
“But PureCycle’s recent months have instead been filled with setbacks: technical issues at the plant, shareholder lawsuits, questions over the technology and a startling report from contrarian investors who make money when a stock price falls. They said that they had flown a drone over the facility that showed that the plant was far from being able to make much new plastic.”

$PCT big new article on how plastic recycling is falling short mentions PureCycle. I listened to the last CC and the CEO was pretty forthright about the various problems at the plant they are dealing with and why this long dug down is required. Tech is definitely not there yet. Hard for me to tell how many more months or even years it will take until it’s all working well and reliably. Lots of problems with seals too.

$ORGN Nice attempt to sound smart. But ORGN still trading below cash, so there is absolutely NO exuberance here. $DNMR and its "bug fat" trades at $500mm EV and $PCT with its malfunctioning plant trades at $1.5 billion EV. Perhaps that is exuberance... not ORGN.

$PCT New investor here taking a starter position after reading about the company in MarketWatch. Really like their mission. If there is any good place for DD besides the calls, filings etc. let me know. Thanks. Plan to dig deep into them in the next few days.

$PCT getting curious here..have 6k ...anybody really educated here? Listened to most od recent call, 1 question sticks out that didnt get a timeline is when will a commercialized product be bought (used?) by a customer? Is Georgia a 2025 start? Have to assume georgia will be the beneficiary of these learningsvat ironton...also..is this a moneymaking business that will just keep scaling w plants? (Should I get to 10 or 15k shares and will this company be around in 10 years w a $30- 50 stock price? Any thoughts?

$PCT PureCycle Technologies to pause operations at Ironton facility PureCycle Technologies announced that its flagship purification facility in Ironton, Ohio will begin a scheduled operational pause on April 1, 2024. During the pause, several improvements will be made to the facility with the goal of increasing reliability and driving more consistent product quality. $PCT Pleased to see the planned improvements being installed at Ironton! We knew this was coming. This means it was designed and materials procured. I was worried about potential supply chain issues. Glad this is work is getting done on schedule, production WILL go up.
