No buying interest whatsoever, a few retail bagholders, institutions given up entirely, mostly bots and algos buying/selling to each other to create fake volume. Its not going to change . $REI Happy Friday !! Well looking at the 60min chart..nothing much new.. price drifting higher on little volume.. Those 2 gaps still to be dealt with.. However, price is now back to the 50SMA on the Daily, which is down trending, so I imaging we pull back from that unless buying volume comes in. As I said yesterday, Ho humm

$REI XLE up over 10% last 3 months and we are down over 13%. My guess is that McKinney just didn't attend enough conferences in Q3 Maybe he will do better in Q4.

Scale and size are fine but institutional memory is more powerful. Traders, big hedge funds, banks have all been burned by reckless oil CEOs and disastrous bankruptcies for 25 years. the worst S&P sector of all time. $KOS, $REI, $GTE, $WTI are symptomatic of the root cause- lousy C-suites that are more than happy to shaft investors given half a chance. @Technically_Buff_oldman_ lessons learned old man. Why didn't I buy Carvana, Palantir, Robinhood, Peloton, Meta, Affirm, ANY tech stock? Oil is uninvestable. $REI and $KOS will be gone- taken private for peanuts or restructured by this time next year. There will never be a squeeze (for years fools kept saying REI will squeeze, no one squeezes deadbeats) nor a new super cycle. Companies with solid assets like $PR and $TALO that are also great M&A plays will prosper, rest will vanish

@GTR1000 whats your $REI cost avg is it > $4 or above $5 ? i seriously doubt after 2 years of wreckage any of these oil small caps survive this next recession when it arrives. Fully expect $KOS to go belly up (2.6 B debt) and others to restructure just to stay afloat. Dems tryin their hardest to ruin everything so Orange man is setup for failure from day 1. Thats why its best to stick to PR and TALO
