@MidnightMadness IMHO $NEE is a much better play than $NEP

$NEE Called the top and reversal. Now its sitting on support. Very bearish if this level breaks.

$NEE NextEra Energy clean energy winner 🌱💡 Long-term hold!

User Image acridboomstock Posted - 6 days ago

@JJfor3 bullshit. $NEE alone is $152 billion dollar market cap. If you don't count that then don't comment

$NEE: At $73.62 dividend yield is 2.65%. Entry below $70 leverages renewable energy growth and reliable income.

$NEP Spot on.... many retail dumped shares off the boat, when in reality the boat is going to be fine. Big money has been calmly nibbling on a supersized discount! I have been adding short puts and using premium to add more shares. Interesting fact: Many sources cite that electric demand may double by 2030. One can debate this future outlook...BUT....Renewables are set to contribute 80% of new power generation capacity to 2030, with solar alone accounting for more than half of this expansion. Rationale: Renewables have quickest speed to meet the need. Nuclear takes 10+ years to turn on, new gas generation plants vary but can be a several years. $NEE and $NEP are the two I am loading into my boat!

@MidnightMadness @Swissinvestch I'd like to see them purchasing shares in the open market at these prices. That would likely run it to $30+ and wouldn't be hard for $NEE to do

In addition to $FSLR, $SHLS and $NXT , $NEE is also likely to emerge as a massive beneficiary from today's partnership between Google and Intersect Power. You just have to imagine what's going on in the solar sector, even if Microsoft, Amazon and co. will follow suit with similar partnerships in the next few days. It was the same with the nuclear sector 2 months ago.

$NEE Downtrend since mid October. Any ideas as to why? The private placements perhaps? Shouldn't be because of Trump, he has expressed a like for solar.

$NEE $SPY Nextera seems to be a great way to get defensive but also play the AI growth as a power generator. Great profit margins too. Now at the 200 SMA. Just my opinion.

User Image Father_Time Posted - 1 week ago

$NEE NextEra Energy Price is selling off/correcting right into the daily 200SMA, a support level that hasn't been tested in month. Buying the first test of this support is the A+ long entry ~ I like January monthlies, 75 strike Note the last time price tested the 200SMA it rallied over 30%

$NEP here another perspective of an outcome that may happen. Atlantica Yield ($AY) was bought out for $22 a share.. Business is about the same as $NEP (a Yieldco). $NEE could also decide to take it back… $AY was doing around $220M$ CAFD a year and was paying ~ 8% dividend. Now interestingly, AY was bough out at 1.7x Book Value (22$ vs 12.2) .. I loved this stock for many years (Steady dividend and 15 to 18 years of contracts). Its also usual in order to not get issues with the buy out that at least the liquidation value is paid (For this kind of business with decade of valid contracts). NEP book value is $36 … just in case! 😉

$NEE: At $80.00. Enter near $78.00 aiming to sell at $83.00. NextEra Energy's leadership in renewable energy projects supports its dividend growth.

User Image DavyDaveCharts Posted - 1 week ago

$NEE ugly weekly chart, for now. Head and Shoulders, declining RSI and a lower high on the accumulation/distribution line.

$AES the amount of energy that’s going to be needed for data centers and standalone source of energy for large tech companies is going to be astronomical. That’s no pump either. $xom $enp $enp $nee

User Image LieutenantJoe Posted - 1 week ago

$AES my only wish and prayer is that this doesn’t get bought out for less than $50 a share by big Energy $XOM $ENPH $OKLO $NEE

User Image StockAutoPro Posted - 1 week ago

$NEE CURRENTLY SELL, BUT WILL change.. buy below anything under $100. if it hits $85 anytime soon then get it asap for a quick scalp

User Image StockAutoPro Posted - 1 week ago

$NEE: NextEra Energy leads in wind and solar development. Accumulate below $80; target $85 as renewable projects expand.
