$ORC it's been a shitty ride for the last two years. I can't with good conscience stay any longer with all the other opportunities out there. I decided to dump all my holdings in this and moved them to $NEP. I'd rather take my loss then risk another dividend cut.

$NEP Congrats to longs that were buying with me in 15s and 16s. I am still adding as this is cheap below 25. Lots more room for this to run: (1) extreme undervalued situation (2) shorts caught off guard this morning with double upgrade (3) energy trend highly favorable (4) rate cuts = tail wind. (5) Entry of Big Money and a + shift in momentum (6) acknowledgement that clean energy is vital and can be quick to deploy vs other approaches.

$NEP interesting stock with a huge yield and a parent company that is well off... Can somebody tell me why they are so sure that the dividend will be cut? I understand that they have debt to pay. I do think rates will go down. What could be the root cause of the dividend dropping besides the debt? And do you think that would really be the answer? Based on the significant drop I would agree that it's been priced in the dividend cut. But overall the company's numbers look pretty good. I have a pretty low average. Besides the debt which I don't find insurmountable Is there anything else that I am missing that would cause the company to be valued so low?

$NEP About debts issue: beside the ~ 25B$ assets $NEP has, the best option for favorable debt renewals would be from parent company $NEE which has a market cap of 160B$ and yielding 2.6% .. they could easily lend to $NEP ~ 1.7B$ (at ~ 5% rate) which is 1% of their market cap … A small capital raise from $NEE would be meaningless.. and clear the way back to $50-$60 for $NEP

$NEP Dividend cut is a certainty. Notice was given in the last conference call. A dividend cut will be a boost for the stock. Just a word for the wise.

this is $60 stock sold at Black Friday price … 😎😎😎 there are a few challenges with Debt maturities but overall $NEP has less debt than $CWEN w/ around same CAFD and alike.. one is yielding 21% and the other 5.75% which is the “normal yield” in the industry…

$NEP interesting that dividend reduction is rumored.. the fact is that NEP just increased its quarterly dividend from 0.905 to 0.9175 despite the huge stock price drop… (affecting temporarily capital raise efficiency)
But It’s hard to believe that they want to cut dividend when they just decided to increased it…..

$NEP finished moving all my $cwen and remaining fund from $ay to accumulate a new position in $NEP… pretty happy with the purchase price and the rotation.
Even they will have to cut divy (which i think will be limited to 30% current divy it would be still a 14.5% yield
I m not convinced they truly need to cut it by the way.. interest rates are on the decline.
