$TNX 10Yr Note Update. (zoom in) After the "top for rates" call made last October, I've been working on a bullish TLT thesis (albeit recently it's been grinding sideways). With the 10Yr now reclaiming key technical levels, it's likely near term bearish bonds and I've pivoted as per prior post. $TLT $IEF $AGG $SPY

After a solid 20% rally off the October lows, $TLT is consolidating in a nice, perfectly healthy fashion. Feel free to tell me again about your rising rates thesis, I'm not listening to you. Disclaimer: I'll pivot my own thesis below $92. $AGG $TNX

Goldman: Since the pandemic, the correlation b/n equites & bonds has risen substantially - bonds are less likely to buffer equites when they fall (improved recently) but stubbornly high inflation & high govt debt levels are keeping rates elevated One hedge would be the USD - which would benefit from higher rates for longer. Research suggests when the equity-bond correlation is positive, the 60/40 portfolio + the USD tend to be negatively correlated. $TLT $UUP $TBIL $AGG $SPY

$SPY Yesterday I went from 75% equities to 45% and increased my $AGG holding so the move today wasn't felt much, I honestly thought today's move was going to happen Monday, and I was going to regret not collecting some cash for a future dip last Friday, but yesterday was good to get out a bit and collect some profits. I'll wait for CPI, powell this week, and March meeting to go a bit more into cash or increase equities. The correction was needed, shit was so overbought and this move since October was historic it just felt wrong holding so much in equities, the correction was bound to happen.. now the fun part, will it continue dipping, or will bulls BTD.
