SOXL is for hedging protection against SOXS, so we do not invest with the expectation of large profits. $INTC's earnings of 6.17% are scheduled to be announced today. Although there will be some impact on semiconductors here, $GOOG$MSFT is expected to have a greater impact. To date, $TXN $LRCX's earnings reports have posted significant gains but have not had much of an impact on SOXL, and semiconductors are moving in tandem with $NVDA volatility. Depending on NVIDIA earnings, volatility could be closer to plus or minus 20%. Because it is AI-centric, the market itself will move significantly. Semiconductors are the largest chunk of my two-way position, so they are at the center of my trading.
