@LadyBABA Do you think $MDB is the same market value as $EBAY? $MDB has no PE ratio, as far as I can tell, MongoDB Corp. has not made any money in four years. It has large debt and its Interest Coverage is zero. So, will it drop back to $320 before going up? Ask the snark masters that will respond to this post.

$REAL Ebay had no interest in the space for the past 12 years up until last year. Says a lot about the industry and how ahead TRR is. Ebay is using an individual seller to authenticate, not even building own service. In addition, whats the only thing you cant buy on Amazon/minimal inventory available? Luxury goods. REAL’s warehouses and the way they operate match Amazons operations and are almost identical. Ebay you have to wait forever for them to authenticate/ship. REAL you can get your items in 2 days. $AMZN $EBAY 2 billion GMV, ebay/amazon will never be an issue for competition. Ebays model is terrible on the buyer side.

$EBAY I think im off this as an investor after what mercari just did and how I feel it’s harder now to get sales on eBay. They are legit like shadow banning to pressure us into using promote feature. Very shady. Also, resellers… what do you think it means for mercari to do away with fees? Was this to bring down such inflated prices? I work in video game reselling and now I can sell my stuff a little cheaper on mercari so ultimately it will contribute to bringing down price averages for products… I think it’s interesting.. and I feel happy to sell my inventory without getting gouged on fees. Happy customers and happy seller here. eBay you played with fire and mercari answered. Greed is not the way. This is a reflection of the company now.. they had a chance to show the world how great they are but now who wants to pay fees? Not me…

$EBAY I will keep shitting on this company because they keep shitting on me and other sellers who make their business!! Stop paying a fucking dividend, figure out a way to lower shipping costs, stop making changes to the platform, layoff more of your offshore employees, lower fees, and stop mismanaging your capital. No one in their right mind should own shares of this company. You have no idea how bad it has been. The buyers have been cheap af and then eBay needs to take more from their sellers. It seems crack heads run this company. Unless your source your items for free you will have a hard time making any money on this platform anymore. It’s been absolutely unbelievable.

$EBAY Absolutely ridiculous, eBay takes fucking 14% of an order that was less than 10 dollars. This is a cash poor fucking mess of a company. I want to see their earnings fucking burn into oblivion/ They keep spitting in our face and stealing money. I’m so disgusted.

$EBAY I’m very grateful for the selling success EBay has brought me but the platform now is a confused bastard who is hurting their bottom line. 2021- the beginning of 2023 was absolutely fantastic for sellers. Those days seem long gone. Also USPS needs to stop being thieves and lower shipping costs across the board. They are crooks just as much as eBay.

$EBAY If they hit those earnings projects, they are scum bags who are sellouts to their shareholders and don’t give af about their sellers. Selling has become thievery with selling fees and ad placement. My opinion is they come a lot closer to last quarter’s numbers.

$EBAY Always up to some BS. Updating this, fixing that. They don’t understand that most of what they have is sufficient. Changing the platform causes more stress and problems than solutions. Management is really stupid.

$EBAY My current operating margin suffering is a clear sign that the lower and lower-middle class are getting hurt by restrictive policy. It’s only a matter of time before this spills over into the debt market when these people start defaulting on their liabilities. This is a consequence of unfavorable borrowing rates and little cash reserves in this class of society. Right now inflation is mainly in the housing market which is dragging up the averages. The market even last year was fantastic up until around July with prices on eBay. Who will also hurt is thrift stores who now have lost business because of resellers looking for even cheaper options such as goodwill bins to find items that can be flipped. Very sad circumstances.

$EBAY It is no not profitable to sell certain items on eBay. The Fed has crashed the second hand market and sellers while eBay charges more fees for better places on search. The era of flipping on eBay is over unless you purchase something overly cheap that still has good demand. Clothing selling is so dead and was a majority of my business. It’s rare to flip anything for more than 10% profit at this point. Now you need to basically offload inventory and sell at a loss. The economy sucks so much shit and people are so fucking poor and cheap. Some items are getting watchers when it’s less than $2 dollars. It pisses me off how cheap people have become. Good thing is I have other ways of making better money on the platform but clothing reselling is super dead. Thank you EBay and the Fed. You killed part of my business.

$NKE just read how theyre shifting sales back to wholesalers such as footlocker and diversifying from digital sales.
As a business owner i know this is a sign of desperation depending on the dying model of retail it is called harvesting before the fruits go bad.
Donahue used to run $ebay and he did such stupid things killing the platform before the current ceo came back in to fix things back before it was too late. He was the one who tried to split up ebay's components spinning off paypal, cutting lot of their innovation needed to improve the platform Mark this as the end of nike as a leader as we knew. The brand may still continue but it is going to be like levis.
Instead of focusing on ways to innovate products this guy tries to appease the street with short term tweaks to make the numbers look good but ultimately kills the product portfolio.
This guy will be gone from nike in 3 years for them to bring someone back to fix the mess he is about to cause nike long term.

$EBAY If someone is complaining about making no sales it’s because their prices are too high. It is confirmed if they get emotional about acknowledging that fact. I still make sales everyday just has not been as fruitful as last year.

$EBAY Sales are absolutely dry during the 2nd half of this month. I refuse to do more discounts and sacrifice more margin. If you do pay for ad space you are basically doing the same thing just losing money on the front end.
This economy sucks!
