$SPG $MAC $SPY $QQQ Do you think market will go lower? Still too early to say, and this could very well be a bull trap, but I kind of feel like we could have seen the bottom or at least close to it.
Inflation slightly decreased last month. China said they will open back up in June, which should help supply chain flow and thereby lowering inflation because the supply side will grow. Another inflation catalyst could be peace talks or some kind of ending to Ukraine/Russia.
I also think most stocks and also indexes are looking rather cheap compared to the performance in the fundamentals during earnings season. Most companies have actually showed good reports. We are seeing slower growth across the board, but still growth and profitability. Most forward guidances have also been cautiously optimistic imo. Based on WMT and HD earnings today, the American consumer is still very strong and coping well with inflation. I think the economy is in a good place overall. Inflation will fade.

So, I don’t usually cross post, but i feel this is necessary. If any of you are looking for an incredible foundation piece for your portfolio that pays a 6% dividend (increases 3 qtrs in a row) that is covered thoroughly, Simon Property Group (SPG) is your forever hold. Best in class (world), fortress balance sheet, insane operator. I just posted several posts on that board why it’s a no brainer buy/hold. SPG proceeds are paying for my house build right now. I sold 85% of my original position as it went $140, $150, $160, $170.
It’s back down to $161 in this stupid panic market.

$SPG I was at SPG Southpark Mall, Charlotte, NC with my family last night. Eating at Cowfish, yes, a SPG carefully selected tenant. Southpark is a prime example of a perfectly construct led eat, work, live, play LUX Simon establishment.
It makes you feel different when you come on site.
You feel, LUX. You want to spend. You want to have fun. You smile. You love. You forget all the crap going on underneath.
No way to replicate this people.
