Basically no debt, just turning profitable, low valuation, muted multiples in a sector that has a TAM growing significantly yoy. $PAYO One of the best opportunities in the market, and the fact nobody cares is why it's that much better. When it starts moving is anyone's best guess, however this low pricing won't last forever.

Clearly I need to do more DD on $PAYO because I had no idea they’re the first recommended payment processor in Walmart marketplace. Just got approved for Walmart and signed up. Have sold e-commerce for over a decade. I know Payoneer has lots of business in China but Walmart is a massive opportunity.

$PAYO Fiserv results bullish for payments. Strong Q1 and April is even a bit stronger. Part of me wants Payo to stay in the $4s for a while longer but maybe now is the time for a move.

$PAYO 104 job openings at Payoneer career site - that's about 2x what is was at one point. 44 or so of them are sales and business development. Bullish view is that they see opportunity and some of this investment is why ebitda was guided lighter than expectations - but top line may benefit. Bearish view is that there's higher employee turnover (maybe employees are fed up with not seeing their stock comp and options making progress in the same way their pals at other firms are seeing). Certainly with rates staying high they are going to be very profitable this year from float income so some more investment is likely.

$PAYO ex CEO (still on the Board) has been selling hundreds of thousands of shares lately, although he still maintains 2.6m shares and likely has many more coming his way through options etc. It seems that he adopted a 10b-5-1 plan in November 2023 which allows him to sell even during a quiet period, but he has to sell a certain predetermined amount at a certain time and so he has no control over what price he sells at - I’m hoping he thinks this sucks to be selling in the $4s although he’s in his 50s and likely has expenses like the rest of us. Still, it’s quite a bit of stock in what has been a pretty illiquid period. One of these days one of these guys will buy some stock, although sounds like they would have to mortgage the house to do so as it’s been selling only for years, not a single insider purchase. How about buying 100 shares John? Just 100, c’mon it’s the price of a nice dinner for two in the big Apple.
