$NOVA and $SPWR and $FSLR and $ENPH and $MYBUF Meyer Burger and $NOVA will benefit from The Biden administration, new rule will require coal plants and gas plants to install carbon-capture technology or find another way to achieve the equivalent climate protections. Experts say that instead of trying to meet these requirements, more coal plants may just retire — and some power companies may opt to invest in renewables! https://sg.news.yahoo.com/biden-crackdown-power-plants-expected-100000177.html

$MYBUF Solar manufacturers are asking the US government to slap duties on $12.5 billion of imported equipment from Southeast Asia, setting the stage for a sweeping trade probe that threatens to make power projects more expensive. That could help Meyer Burger. https://www.bnnbloomberg.ca/us-solar-makers-seek-additional-tariffs-on-panel-imports-from-asia-1.2063270

$MYBUF According to BSW - Bundesverband Solarwirtschaft e.V., it is first of all about simplifications for so-called plug-in solar devices, often popularly called balcony power plants (collectively with other photovoltaic systems). These are plug-in photovoltaic systems that are compatible with existing socket circuits without the need for intervention in the electrical installation. https://www.merkur.de/wirtschaft/energiewende-bundesverband-bundesregierung-winkt-solarpaket-durch-solarenergie-solarbranche-zr-93017909.html

$JKS the subventions from the china government will kill the Europe solar cell manufacturers like $MYBUF or SMA. This will in the end help Jinko and pther china manufacturers to win the american and european market in the end. At the moment there is a over production of solar cells so that the stock is where it is but i am sure that i one year this stock will be on a much better position

I wouldn't be so hasty with your judgment. Meyer Burger is currently investing in Colorado and you are welcome to consider whether there might be an opportunity here. Meyer Burger is the largest solar module manufacturer in Europe. The short of float is decreasing every day. I have done proper due diligence on Meyer Burger and their credit rating is without a doubt good. You can trade them through Nasdaq. maybe they're worth a few dollars, the market cap is still small. Sales in the USA are estimated at 600 million dollars.

@RenewEnergyFan hmmm... > A real competitor for $CSIQ? well if revenue for $MYBUF of $147M last year vs $7.48B of revenue for Canadian Solar means that Meyer Burger is a real competitor then I am not sure you can judge the right stocks to own in the Solar PV market but good luck to you and your call :-)

$CSIQ Hi folks, do I have to fear for my $CSIQ shares now? The POTUS recently mentioned PV manufacturer Meyer Burger ($MYBUF), which is building new photovoltaic module factories in Colorado. What is the potential of $MYBUF as a small cap (yet)? Their background and story seems pretty good. A real competitor for $CSIQ? What is the remaining advantage of $CSIQ?

$FSLR Hi folks, do I have to fear for my $FSLR shares now? The POUTUS recently mentioned PV manufacturer Meyer Burger ($MYBUF), which is building a new photovoltaic module factory in Colorado. What is the potential of $MYBUF as only a small cap (yet)? Their background and story seems pretty good. A real competitor for $FSLR?
