$IYZ exited the remainder of my position on the spike to $22.60, a perfect match of the upper bollinger band price. These technicals matter and drastically improve the risk/reward of a trade. Heck of a trade 6 days in a row trended up after the analysts called it dead. Risk/reward. Buy support/sell resistance. It works. The rest is noise. Learning how to do this has saved and made me a lot of money and improved my odds immensely. This is how the big money does it ongoing while they sell their latest narrative on tv. $XLU selling the rip above the upper bollinger bands, overbought now. In at $64 & change, out in $68.30s. https://schrts.co/ebEKqHkd $XLP same thing, selling this overbought condition, in at $72, all out $75.70s. I love these sectors anytime they are on sale so it is hard to sell, though my goals for the positions have been currently met. Also sold 70% of my $IYZ position, I never thought I would see 4 days up in a row after my buy. I'm big on derisking a trade once I'm well ahead. In my trading accounts, securing profits is front of mind. Investments are different, so if things keep running, I have plenty going on. Always something good going on. Almost forgot, selling $XLV as well after the run from $127 to $136s. Overbought 70 rsi now into resistance. I have my Health sciences fund if the space continues to move higher. Sold $THQ as well, a big winner for me since my post a bit back. Bought in bottom of bbands, selling out above the top bands, amazing. Risk/reward and no fomo ever.

$IYZ three days ago it was pronounced that this area would never go up again. Analysts piled on even after it was oversold and it went to the bottom of the bollinger bands. I bought it, up for 3 days straight from $21.16 to a current $22.22. It was yielding over a 4% dividend and the best names in the space. Newsflow like this can present opportunity and often does. I like to take advantage. Sectors are one of the best ways to outperform the general tape when bought and sold correctly. The other sectors I purchased in deep value territory sometime ago are now all moving higher as the market goes down. Best to buy them when nobody cares about them as they deliver again and again. $XLV $XLU $XLP

Got in $TLTW at the bottom of the bollinger bands, oversold. It will be opening near the top of the bollinger bands today. I sold premarket from my $32 entry to $33.18, pocketing more than two of those near 20% dividends. $TMF has been a big winner as well, up from $6.96 entry to $7.70s. Good enough for now, should still be good longer term though I'm capturing the meat of the move. $IYZ moving again premarket. I entered a few days ago at the bottom of the bollinger bands.

@SwingTradeToronto @Jinxis What's going on is the big boys loading up cheap. Notice the bearish notes out today piling on while they have already been pounded. I'm now long $IYZ on the close and long $XTL 50/50 split large and small cap telecom. Bottom of the bollinger bands and 30s rsi is close enough for me to start in on them for an allocation. I have room for more if it got more oversold, though I'm going to give them some space now. Not sure if this is the bottom, though I don't pick bottoms, I just find relative value. Sectors for me, not individuals. Solid names in top 10 holdings. The large caps are yielding over 4% now dividend wise: https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/IYZ/holdings?p=IYZ I'll likely trade out of the small caps if they run some as it has a wider bid/ask, though it is fine for now. @FundamentalValues @cstrick1980 you may be asking too much from an ETF. Best I can think of with leverage is $LTL which is 2x leveraged. It does have a dividend of 1.89%, but not a worth the risk in my opinion though. Currently the highest yielding ETF in this space is $IYZ at 2.48%. Last time I did any research on this group of ETFs, $VOX had the best long term returns, so I'd probably lean towards that one. When I screen for communications ETFs, I only get 12 hits. So, you probably want to check out all 12 of these:
