@foxhunter808 @lostsurfer sure thing. Good luck! I don't think it hurts for newer LiDAR investors to spread their chips a bit, especially at these prices and with RFQs being awarded this year. Also watch $HSAI, if China tensions heat up further then they may be able to capitalize on the Asia markets.

35k * $2k/sensor (or even lower) = $75M revenue at most for the whole year. And this price will have to drop soon. Remember $HSAI is selling AT128 at $400 to oems and Volvo’s parent company is making long range lidar at $200-$300 cost with SOP starting this year. Negative gross margin means multiple millions of loss. We will tell how small this “initial PO” is from Luminar’s Q1 ER but my guess is 1-2k sensors. $LAZR is doomed and $FSRN already showed how Luminar will die in two years. $600 convertible debt…this can terminate Luminar immediately for bankruptcy in 2026. Majority of western lidar companies won’t survive the competitions from China. $OUST might if DF is on schedule.

$HSAI Well, I guess I am the only guy posting (but making money, so that's ok)... HODL the current investment. I would buy more if I thought it would go up from here, but it's the overall market I am worried about. Hsai over the "long" term is a rocket stock, the devices will be incorporated into robots, which, as Elon Musk said, are basically cars that hopefully won't be running into people. Lidar is the way.

@AirPrince I only have one stock $HSAI, over a quarter mill, it was slightly green today, but it doesn't matter - I sold the April 19 $5 calls against my load and the market maker gave me about $30k. This is a very defensive position, because I believe the market will be going down in the next 30 days. You should be short or defensive. The market has gained an almost unprecedented amount in the last 6 months. It will take a break of many months, and people's portfolios will generally go down.

$HSAI Loving this churn right here at the $5 level. Validates my thinking on the very near term. If for some reason I am still long 62,000 shares of HSAI on expiration date, the answer will be: RELOAD for another month. It's great income and makes the trade much safer. There are no earnings due for nearly 3 months, so it will either be news or simply market moves. And in my opinion, the market is heading down for months. That is why I sold calls so near the strike price. Very high premium being paid to sell the calls and it's 50/50 as to whether HSAI will be above or below $5 on expiration.
