$HE Hawaii Fires Judge: All Maui Wildfire Insurance Claims Must Be Made Public Maui Judge Peter Cahill's ruling will provide a rare glimpse into insurance business. By Stewart Yerton / November 7, 2024 Reading time: 5 minutes. Insurance companies have a month to make public lists of every insurance claim related to the wildfire that killed 102 people on Maui and destroyed much of Lahaina, including the amount of each claim, the amount actually paid out and the rationale for the payment. Maui Circuit Court Judge Peter Cahill acknowledged the task is a “heavy lift.” But Cahill said he needs the information filed in court by Dec. 2 “to evaluate the best means and method to manage each case, individual claims, and trials.”

$HE Shower thoughts on $HE Hawaiian Electric 1) Hawaii's supreme court will hear on wildfire litigation sometime this month (December). Assuming we get a ruling from them sometime between January through March 2025 which will hopefully finally put this to rest. 2) Likelihood of a headline sometime in Q1 as well announcing the sale of their bank 3) Likelihood of a headline sometime in the next 1-3 months that they raised more capital via equity ATM 4) Tax loss harvesting for 2024 likely nearing completion and should be completed on institutional side in < 2 weeks. 5) Chart bias on the near term still points down, though not by a lot. Expecting sideways chop until items #1-4 resolve Seems like an easy long opportunity for the patient from these $9.6 to $10.50 levels. If the above items play out then I would imagine share prices sees $15-20 in 2025.

$HE What type of trader are you? Do you trade momentum or buy the dip for a reversal trade? I set a buy when H% is low. I never buy random levels. I’ll buy when H% is low for HE as I did for other tickers as shown here. These are just 4 example of many others. Got timestamps and buy fills for the skeptics. Algos are very complex. This is why I only buy when H% is low

$HE The backing and filling indicates a large sell order, and I'll reiterate: HE is selling 24,000,000 ATM shares at approximately 10.50. That would be the $250 million that has been on the table. I believe those funds and the other defendants in the insurance lawsuit will settle the case. That's why we're seeing the recent trading going nowhere. Patience, when news is released, the stock will surge.

$HE Yesterday added 5,000 shares at 10.50. Wrote covered calls, 10.50 last week that expired, and luckily bought back today. It is too risky to write calls since any positive announcement could bring it back to 18.00
