@LetsGoNow1 @anoynmous99 it's insane. $FKWL (as far as reported) was NEVER given any of the devices to evaluate/do their own failure analysis and only 2 them showed signs of fire damage. Why would you report such when you have no idea if it's legit or not? I still haven't seen any evidence that warranted a recall. Compare that to the Samsing issue where devices were actually exploding/erupting as the batteries failed and there were numerous reports across the country. That being said-Franklin mgmt was WAAAYYYY too conservative & never pushed back/fought back thinking ATT was a "customer" and they "needed" them. ATT threw them under the bus, ran them over, backed up and did it a few more times, before mgmt finally realized they were set up

$FKWL judge rejecting 2.4 ml settlement.
Anyone know what this means for the company? Presumably they need to pay bit more to settle this.

⚠️ Judge has rejected $2.4M settlement in Franklin Wireless case citing unequal treatment for class members.
🎉 Good news over rejection is that new terms could be more equal & beneficial for investors!

$5M $FKWL
Lot of.commodity Hotspots coming out of China. Inseego is way to top heavy (look at SG&A line) and hasn't done anything consequential with the R&D line to make up the difference.
Would be humorous if $FKWL was able to buy them cheap and spin off the low end commodity biz

that concept. They got punished for it mightily.
To your question on Inseego-it does open doors but the commodity side of their biz will probably be absorbed by the commodity players - not the higher end mfgs. Where $FKWL has some potential isnin the router/wifi market thru T-Mobile, AT&T, and the regional players. They should be very hesitant to work with $VZ again unless it's heavy cash up front as they simply can't be trusted. As a LT VZ customer (I was with them before they were national), I saw how it changed from a customer service first Telco to the typical Corp behemoth and finally left them yrs ago when they couldn't even get the basics of customer service down. I'd rather FKWL use that cash for more leading edge tech than purchasing a commodity mfg/rev stream. But there should be high GM biz they can peel off of the Inseego troubles.. 2/2

Inseego is the former Novatel. Novatel was the largest/dominant player in the industry but never made money doing it. They overly commoditized the market and got locked into LT contracts while losing money and market started to shift before they could capitalize on economies of scale. They were also very top heavy. Sound familiar...? Inseego basically went the same route.
In contrast, $FKWL never played the commodity game and also sought out other avenues (pet tracker, multi mode devices, smart appliance, integrated router/wifi, etc). They also have been VERY light on SG&A and upper mgmt had always been very modestly paid while also being large shareholders.
My biggest complaint which I shared with co was not being aggressive enough with Verizon on the bs recall. They should have forced them to identify rhe failure or relinquish the failed devices. They retreated and "hoped" for the best. VZ didn't see them as a partner-they were a lackey. Franklin didn't understand 1/2

$FKWL lots of cash, high revenue, lawsuit settled, cheap valuation... what am I missing? Is the share price low just because of the way management treats the owners? If the business is doing well, should we really be too concerned? I would take a dividend/share buybacks but at some point the big pile of cash will become attractive to other investors, especially when profitability occurs. Would appreciate other point of views as I'm a new shareholder so mag not fully understand the situation.

$FKWL Interesting letter/development. This has been an issue since this mgmt team took over 20+ yrs ago from the old Franklin Telecom (VOIP pioneers). They made a major error when they didn't hit back at Verizon with the BS recall. They should.habe gone on the offensive bothnlegallly and PR wise and put the onus on Verizon to provide them actual.failed units and justify the basis for the recall. Instead, they played scared and ended up getting hammered. All this happening right after NASDAQ iplisting couldn't have been worse timing.
I'd rather them do a high value acquisition with that cash than a dividends or buyback. Their OS is already very low and while they have cash for ops-rhey still aren't breaking out in their curr biz channel. They need alternatives to really.accelerate top and bottom line growth.

$FKWL no idea who sinnet partners are but that letter makes a lot of good points that I've previously mentioned. How it's hard to look at a quarter by itself on their ERs.
A special divi of 1/share and 10 mill buyback would be nuts.

$FKWL BS lawsuit but Franklin should have been much lore aggressive with VZ and forced them to substantiate the need to do the recall with only sev device failures reported, every one of them under unusual use circumstances, & none of these devices provided to Franklin for failure analysis. Mgmt was too scared of VZ and it really bit them
