$BEP Brookfield Renewable Partners reports Q3 FFO 42c with items, consensus (4c) Reports Q3 revenue $1.47B, consensus $1.5B. Q3 FFO benefited from asset development, recent acquisitions, and strong all-in pricing. "We had another successful quarter highlighted by agreements to monetize several assets, crystallizing strong returns and generating significant funds to deploy into future growth. We also signed numerous favorable large-scale contracts within our North American hydro portfolio during the quarter that will enable us to execute upfinancings providing additional capital to invest in the current attractive environment," said Connor Teskey, CEO of Brookfield Renewable. "These initiatives continue to demonstrate our sustainable funding model and are enabling us to take advantage of an increasingly strong back-drop for clean power. The tailwinds for renewables continue to be driven by accelerating corporate demand, primarily from the global technology players to enable their data center and AI development. Our scale and geographically and technologically diversified business is uniquely positioned to meet this growing need in all political environments."

$BEP 😄 It's unlikely they will be out of business while their contract with Microsoft is ongoing. Also, their SMRs are scheduled to come online in 2029, but nice try.

$BEP While NEP currently presents an interesting value play with its significantly lower valuation metrics compared to BEP, it is also exposed to greater financial risk. NEP’s reliance on CEPF funding and its need to address future financing obligations create uncertainty, especially beyond 2026. The potential for a dividend cut could also add further volatility to the stock, even though its yield would remain high even if the distribution is cut. BEP demonstrates greater stability with fewer immediate financing concerns and a robust pipeline of projects that are already delivering growth. Its ability to secure low-cost capital for future investments, particularly in battery storage solutions, positions it well to continue expanding its operations and maintain dividend payments. BEP’s valuation is higher than NEP's, its solid balance sheet, consistent growth in funds from operations, and lower exposure to refinancing risks make it the overall better play for risk-conscious investors.

$BEP $FSLR $ENPH $CWEN $ICLN it appears renewables are inversely following the 10 year treasury yield as they have for two years now. Going to go out on a limb and say they’re down due to the 10 year absolutely ripppinnggg today, not Donald Trump being elected president.

$BEPC $BEP $CCJ Spoke with a Korean nuclear engineer, and I might have to bite the bullet on this one. Biased, but I agree. Apparently, a way in which Korea were able to fight inflation was to reduce electricity costs through subsidies aimed at the domestic nuclear industry, partly to dilute their reliance on oil exports but also to weaken the correlative link between high energy price and non-energy goods. No clue to what extent this concept would be applicable to the US as they are one of the largest exporters of oil but pushing for nuclear energy seems to be one of the few sustainable path accounting for the projected ridiculously large fiscal deficits of both candidates, high electricity demand for AI data centers, and nuclear industry competition with China.

$BEP $BEPC $CCJ Contrary to popular belief regarding traditional energy sources, Trump actually has done well for the nuclear industry during his time in presidency. Nuclear energy seems bipartisan. BTW China is really trying to advance their nuclear sector by collecting nuclear engineers (bringing Korean/Japanese engineers) and stockpiling uranium, so likely the competition will force Trump or next administration to really push for nuclear energy.

$BEP this isn't even a real company. It's essentially a place for BN to siphon cash out to itself and sucker uninformed investors into propping it up. I suppose Canadian scams are rampant but how does this even exist?
