In this video they discuss how container shipping giant $AMKBY Maersk is expanding into air cargo and trucking. I think Amazon will do the same thing in the other direction. Amazon already has air cargo and ground logistics, I think Amazon owning container ships is an area of potential future investment. $AMZN https://youtu.be/Gwy6aJ48L5c?si=bIpF3H88xzj-81iS

$AMKBY it apears this ticker was under presure in and dropping drastically by prior to the key bridge ordeal..? whats up ? the red sea complications or something more systemic for our danish shipper?

$AMKBY Danish giant Maersk, the company that chartered the cargo ship that destroyed the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, was recently sanctioned by regulators for blocking its employees from directly reporting safety concerns to the US Coast Guard — in violation of a seaman whistleblower protection law, according to regulatory filings reviewed by the Lever. Eight months before a Maersk Line Limited–chartered cargo ship crashed into the Baltimore bridge, likely killing six people and injuring others, the Labor Department sanctioned the shipping conglomerate for retaliating against an employee who reported unsafe working conditions aboard a Maersk-operated boat.

$VIX $SPY $QQQ $AMKBY This is such a disingenuous statement with an obvious political bend. The reality is the operational loss of one of the busiest ports on the U.S. East Coast is tough to calculate in dollars, and its impact will be felt as a true disaster. The U.S. government has every bit of interest in injecting whatever cash and operational support it can in the immediate term into expediting the clean-up of the bridge from the river and getting the bridge rebuilt, while getting water traffic moving again ASAP. Consider the port essential infrastructure, and the now collapsed bridge nearly as essential. Any dealings with Maersk's insurance company, any case being built, etc. can be built up over time; it's not like that won't happen, and anyone acting like the insurance company is going to get off scot-free is out of their skull. Completely disingenuous. First things first, as the saying goes; lawsuits, etc. can come later.
