$PARA how’s everyone holding up here? Such bs manipulation going on here!

User Image polyglot15 Posted - 6 hours ago

$PARA I'm wondering if some shorts are long PARAP and short PARA. You could be long PARAP and 117% short PARA. 5.75% dividend covers your short interest easily. On conversion, your short position would be cancelled out automatically. Of course there are not enough PARAP to account for all of the short interest. Just a fraction... but I'm curious if all of a sudden short interest will also fall 10m+ on April 1st. Seems like arbitrage to me unless they just lost too much money on PARAP decline lol. Just shooting the breeze here...

$PARA Sorry about the fall from 11.89 where i sold 5% of my shares, I had a hot date tonight. I am good for awhile wont happen again. Those shares were bought in the 10's. Date was expensive but heck its cheaper than marriage and i have never touched a woman before, lol

$PARA It's far too convenient that by being downgraded an acquirer just happens to need 14 billion less up front, and after April first a billion less for the parap shares. 15 billion less up front and get to assume a low rate for that debt. Again...... Slim to none chance this was a coincidence.

User Image Mav00 Posted - 7 hours ago

$PARA Buy low, sell high. Don't get much lower than this for a national treasure. I have made a major life choice. I will start running till we get to $53.

$PARA After the PARAP converts, after the debt downgrade… April is the right time for Skydance to make an offer. Let’s hope they’ve been working hard to get a deal done ⚒️

$PARA National amusement bought 650,000 B shares for $32+ a share 2 years ago. No way they let them go for less than $50. Guaranteed!!!

User Image ForzaNapoli1972 Posted - 10 hours ago

$PARA book value is $34, 50% premium to BV is $52. That would probably be the low end. Short covering will send this much higher once a price is announced, cause they still have to cover.

Isn’t it funny that there are companies who mine Bitcoin (what the fuk is that) which are up 700% in a year and have 4.5B market caps, meanwhile actual companies can’t dig their ways out of a hole? $PARA the table turn will be violent

User Image debtpricewatch Posted - 12 hours ago

$PARA You know times are tough when people get excited about 7 pennies. What happened to the $15.00 Thursday opening? Netflix and Disney at yearly highs and there there is PARA wallowing in the mud near a multi-year low. WB abandoned you. Did PARA or Apollo ever officially acknowledge an offer? Of course not. Debt was downgraded to junk. Down how much YTD? Down how much last 12 months? 5 years. The trend is MY friend boys and girls.

$PARA The silence from company, Skydance, Apollo, and especially BA makes me think there’s something happening. I say BA especially bc if he was being ignored, he’d be making more noise about how great his offer is and how a reasonable company would entertain. I assume they’ve all signed NDAs so can’t speak. Also, in my experience, companies start M&A discussions with discussions on ballpark prices so as not to waste each other’s time. Then they conduct DD and evaluate business to determine where the price should ultimately land. The fact (again, I’m assuming) such discussions are still taking place makes me think the parties are talking about prices that would be acceptable to SR/Special Committee. It’s like if you’re a defense attorney, the longer the jury deliberates the better, because there’s consideration going on. All speculation but seems to make sense to me. I’ve been in this for years, started buying in high 30’s and low 40’s and traded my way down to 60k @ $11.87
