$ACIC stock is weak headed into earnings. I believe the only time the reaction to earnings has been negative in the last 5 quarters was when we were strong heading into earnings. But the SP is still over $10. This company is seemingly doing very well, with a pull from the unknown of hurricanes. I am simply holding, but I really want to buy more.

$ACIC I think the biggest risk to the SP is a hurricane hitting and investors dumping the stock, not understanding that due to reinsurance, the company will be fine. It will be a painful buying opportunity for those that have a large share position.

$ACIC Obviously we have reinsurance and some storms are expected and should have been factored in during the previous rise, but this is the worst outlook on record. Insuring Florida against hurricanes sounds like a terrible idea at the start before you evaluate this company, I believe there’s just a lot of hesitancy. For me, given the percentage of my portfolio in this position, it might make sense to pull out and come back in towards the end of the season. We saw many short attacks during last season that presented great buying opportunities, no reason to expect that won’t happen again. I’m definitely going to ride this out till at least the start of June given the fact this could easily rise 40% for no reason, and no risk really exists before June for a huge drop. I’m not committed to this idea yet, interesting in thoughts.

$ACIC I really think the hurricane season risk is the main catalyst keeping this price depressed. For example from weather.com: “In a complete flip compared to last season, a stronger high-pressure system is expected to set up shop near Bermuda and the Azores, which should deflect more storms westward toward the Caribbean and the United States. This combination of more storms and this pattern will lead to more storms nearing coastlines.”

$ACIC I would really like to know what is going on with this stock. I really like the fundamentals. But interestingly when I see volume on nasdaq it looks like someone was onloading (or buying) a LOT of shares each day in 1 hour intervals (this is hgappening since the earnings but it's ramping down). Yet when trying to verify that on another chart/screener I could not find the same volume.

$ACIC We all know this is going back to at least $13-$14 probably $15-$17 before or immediately after next earnings imo. The only question is when and how fast, this seems like the beginning of a recovery but two days is too early to tell
