Based on the midpoint of the guidance range for Q2, oil production is expected to grow over three percent relative to Q1 2024, despite losing almost 300 bo/d of quarterly production contribution from the non-Permian assets. We continue to see strong activity levels across our acreage position and expect that production growth will continue beyond the second quarter, as is reflected in our full year guidance."Viper's first quarter 2024 average unhedged realized prices were $76.61 per barrel of oil, $1.22 per Mcf of natural gas and $22.17 per barrel of natural gas liquids, resulting in a total equivalent realized price of $48.85/boe. $STR It's a relief to see that Sitio finally has a buyback program to match $VNOM. What matters is the dividend increase for Q4, not the reported loss on the divestiture of the gas assets in Appalachia that was mentioned in the Q3 10-Q and has been priced in over the last few months. The silence from the company over the last 3 months has been uncomfortable but I'm glad I kept buying. Personally I'm happy that they're moving some of the return of capital to buybacks because 1) the stock is undervalued and 2) I don't need the dividend income on top of a full-time salary.
