$CSCO you essentially get Splunk for free at this valuation? They’re going to bundle this, Right now $SPLK does about $1B quarterly for $CSCO. In the long run 5 years, it will be a doing $4b quarterly for $CSCO

$SPLK $ntap look at what pt was when cisco bought splunk. We need expectations to be much higher in netapp so netapp feels they sold at a high price when market is buying it all up Right now they are all just cozy relaxing. Btw this @StockBraker guy often seems to be in the right place at the right time. We need him back in netapp if want this to go anywhere

@AVGO8k @indievestments we must remember hock tan is not a consolidator and simply look to own top to bottom channel. While that may seem important the first step is acquiring great assets at even greater prices. He got vmware at an opportune time bec dell and silverlake wanted to deleverage hence it moved quick. There is no steal in $smci at these prices. There's a reason why they only popped in valuation now vs all the years they been in business and that's because of the AI rush. But that doesnt mean they arent in a business that has no moat. The rush in this business is no different than that when $zm shot up during the stay at home during covid. Things changes during that era and zoom stayed as a leader, but it never got back to all time highs. As the market grows to fill previous highs, other competitors catch up as well hence it takes years to get back to early valuations as a first mover advantage. Look at cisco from 2000. Same thing. You can even say $ntap had suffered this fall in the early 2000s as well. But they changed the business to a data management company and used their lead as the world's largest legacy storage provider of 60% unstructured data to become a software based data manager. Just look 15 years ago even ellison estimated more than 50% of oracle database customers used netapp. This gave netapp the edge in gaining high margins as a storage co far more than competitors selling simply hardware. The only dilemna I have with netapp at this point is seemingly they want to squeeze out whatever they have to command the highest premium in the market as a company. Knowing companies like wiz was asking double their valuation when they are valued privately at like 10x sales or $SPLK selling to csco for 40x fwd pe. They want some of that. Hock can wait as he has been for 15 years.

$HUBC hahaha market cap of 8 million with over 40 million in contracts signed since November ‘23??? Insanely over sold. Manipulated af. Waiting for the annual report to make this thing explode. The two companies $HUBC acquired had over 80 million in contracts last year (ALD and Comsec). If the merger with BlackSwanTechnologies.ai goes through, that is just icing on the cake. Ill keep my shares and buy more :-) $CYBR $PANW $ESTC $SPLK

$AAOI Moving my $SPLK and $AYX buyout cash over here. Buying in the $12.75 and below range. Hold for 3-6 months.

User Image StockBraker Posted - 8 months ago

$AYX Trading is done for AYX. Was able to get out at $48.26 vs the $48.25 offered; so a little benefit there, but overall it was a loss. Hoping to get a bit more if future litigation on the acquisition price is successful. Not going to hold me breath - time to move on and focus on the winners. Looks like $SPLK is done trading too and Cisco is wrapping up their acquisition earlier than planned. Unable to trade it and orders are getting cancelled.

$NTAP actually i realized the perfect consolidator to have taken out ntap wouldve been $csco but they are busy with the $SPLK acquisition. The valuations would've been in reach but it wouldve catapult cisco far deeper within the AI realm
