$PMD Today's press release perhaps the least illuminating press release ever. Three month and nine month P&L No mention of cash. No business commentary. Zilch. And there won't even be this a few months from now. They lost $500K but you have to think that their professional fees were through the roof to get this deal done. So my guess is that they're pretty close to break even. Cash on hand is a biggy. They don't have a ton of wiggle room here.

@Esau815 I get that with hair you get to see far back and urine is only for a very short look back window, but from my DD couldn't find much about companies preferring $PMD or making any differentiation. Not to say it doesn't exist, also why I mainly stick to consumer facing products/services, since more familiar. I tried finding conversations of business owners or HR staff related to hiring and drug testing, but didn't come up with much. Where do you recommend digging into for DD on this one to validate the business case for the idea? Or are you mainly coat-tailing Kamin and his reputation and past?

@Esau815 from a product perspective what do you think? I did some digging and $PMD is mighty proud of their patented process, but employers don't seem to care as much about that distinction. Labs like $DGX and $LH offer similar services and have partnered with different labs, while also offering the more common urine drug test. Do you think with that annual savings of not being a public company they can make a dent or with the issues with trying to be a public company they were stretched too thin or possibly sandbagging to buy the company for a song?

$PMD Response to Detective: 1. First of all. Thanks for the thoughtful reply. I enjoy debate and positions that don't echo my own. The best way for me to avoid losses is have people who disagree with me. Thus, if this dialogue continues, please note that I disagree with respect. 2. That said. It looks like we're pretty well aligned. What we both emphatically agree on is that the immediate future is one big question mark. Especially with regard to employment numbers. 3. What piques my interest is Hullinger and Cisive. Cisive greatly expanded their TAM by doing background checks on PRESENT employees as well as PROSPECTIVE employees. If hair testing could be expanded to PRESENT employees it would be a great opportunity. 4. At the end of the day? Kubacki ran this into the ground and the new team looks promising. It will take time to undo Kubacki's inertia and the majority owner is motivated to turn this around.

$PMD For those holding? You'll need a minimum of 4,000 shares--maybe up to 6,000 shares--not to be cashed out. In return you get a cash strapped company whose sales are declining and whose prospects--right now--seem limited. You'll also get zero information about the company (unless you sign an NDA) and virtually no marketplace to sell because it's going dark. And virtually no timeline or deadline to speak of when you'll get a liquidity event. That said? Like a coyote, the orchestrator works very well in the dark. He's very patient. Word is that the new team is very on the ball. He's putting big money and his name's on the line. In 2029 you might wake up and say, "Why didn't I roll the dice on this one?" High risk. Very uncertain future--especially near term. Lots of blindfolding type of investing. But long term potentially big money.

$PMD My guess is that this goes north of Kamin's $2.35 offering price and then some. He isn't going through this exercise for recreation. Highly likely that he sees opportunity at this price to greatly expand the business. Gets rid of all the small shareholders.

$PMD Fantasy scenario is that they do a shareholder rights offering with Kamin backing up the deal. Kamin endorsement in of itself would likely bolster the stock price.

$PMD Hard to determine the cash burn when there have been so many one time expenses like moving to Dallas and hiring the top two people. And now getting out of the lab lease. Seems like a lot of cash is mop up stuff. The great unknown of course is whether they can stabilize or increase revenues so offset the burn.

$PMD Recent filing indicates that they got rid of their Culver City lease. Cost them $110K up front to save $250K later. More importantly, it provides $PMD an opportunity to relocate the lab to a more advantageous location--likely closer to their Dallas headquarters.

$PMD Very, very early. Have heard very positive things about the new management team--especially the Chief Revenue Officer. Take a look at their compensation package. IF they turn this around they will be richly rewarded. This team did a very good job with Cisive eventually selling to GTCR for a ton of money. LOTS of uncertainty as to how they will expand the business. But given their baseline and $15MM market cap it wouldn't take much additional business to move the revenue needle. If you're looking for a quick turn around with immediate catalysts, this one isn't for you. But this could be one where you're in 2027 and look back and ask, "Why didn't I get involved with this when the management team was obviously first rate and they'd be compensated for doing what they did." Obviously, the earlier you buy the more risk that you take.
