@evansmartin don’t think all AI stock is overvalued. Acmr and $PLAB are still cheap imo. We will see what they are saying next week but demand for chips is really huge (tsmc confirmed). Probably Nvda and Smci are overvalued, but if a big player drops -19% everyone will follow

$PLAB everything stinks right now, except NVDA of course . WTF?

$PLAB picked up 10K shares at $27.25 Tuesday and pitched them this AM at $29 before the next catalyst down. The Fed giveth and the Jobs report will take it away. Monitor the Fed they make entry and exit pretty damn easy. Going back in tomorrow. -

$PLAB I managed a 3(c)7 fund during my career. This is a great trade if you want to see 35%+ annualized with minimal volatility, plus an opportunity to trade size for $2 in the band. Don't margin anything it's the street/feds tool to fleece retail. I just took my position before earnings. It's has all it needs to make you money. Have you seen their balance sheet and their return on equity. Sleep easy. #NoFear

$PLAB trading in this stock makes no sense. I am loathe to push WS analysts, but more of a following would help. My guess is that as long as management isn’t resistant, some company comes along and grabs this for $40-60 a share by the end of 2025. It’s just too profitable and undervalued.

User Image destonfallon Posted - 03/27/24

$PLAB Something brewing; almost 65,000 shares at the close trade at 28.77 chopped up buys. That's $2,000,000 in stock that's not quite retail.

$PLAB Photronics for the first time in decades is somewhat of a growth stock. I wish they'd focus on this as their cash position is valuable it's 1/4 of their market cap with zero debt. They have the technology and the leverage to take on some AI, I assure you they have as their supply chain infers, but let the world know more about who they provide photomasks for.

User Image destonfallon Posted - 1 month ago

$PLAB Yeah if it was a bond I wouldn't want anyone else to know about it but that's not how stocks work. I embrace the opportunity to be the only bid but in stocks that never pays. In real estate or bonds I wouldn't have it any other way

User Image destonfallon Posted - 1 month ago

$PLAB At least you know one thing is real with Photronics; no debt and half-billion plus in cash that's not AI dependent, nor have they uttered the phrase "AI". Cash on balance sheet is rarely subjective. Their business is not dependent on TSM, as are fabless producers Apple, Qualcomm, AMD, Broadcom, Nvidia, and Intel, however my thoughts are that AI may present exceptional growth opportunity vs. their normal trajectory of business in the future. Few guys do what they do. I keep track of any weekly revisions on Bloomberg to earnings and revenues and it's steady.

@Bobert61 we have very similar strategies seems like. $PLAB seems to be one right track after their earnings miss. Hoping for the best for $path tomorrow

User Image Bobert61 Posted - 1 month ago

$SURG You win some, you lose some. Getting out of my $7.5 May options tomorrow. There are better places to put the remnants such as $plab, $path, $gct. Maybe even $acmr. I have options and shares in all of these. But two of those also have earnings this week. Could be a fun last 3 days.
