$PACK Excepts from a piece by @simplywallst.com November 3, 2024 Ranpak Holdings Corp. just released the latest quarterly results, and shares gained 5.3%. Revenues were in line with expectations, at US$92m, while losses ballooned to 10 cents per share. Despite expectations of heavier losses next year, analysts lifted the price target 39% to $11.00.
The analysts forecast 10% annualised growth to the end of 2025 ranking favourably alongside historical growth of 4.5% per annum over the past five years. Implying Ranpack will grow much faster than its industry.
The Bottom Line
The upgraded price target, suggest that the analysts believe the intrinsic value of the business is likely to improve over time.
Long-term earnings power is much more important than next year's profits.

@GreenInvestor88 @Dontknowshiiiiiiit Don't be silly, if you invested here it isn't because of @WantedToRetireEarly. I'll bet when you signed up for a brokerage account they made you sign an application saying you were over legal age. I'll bet you never even met @WantedToRetireEarly in person.
So how is it you got into a stock that's not working out his fault? Grow up, and take responsibility for your own decisions. The only reason you are or were in $ENPH was because you made a decision to buy shares. I just got out of $ENPH because I didn't like the way it was acting. And yes, I was influenced by @WantedToRetireEarly post on the subject, but that doesn't mean it's his fault the stock disappointed. And I blame no one but myself if someone recommends a stock that goes bad and I decide to buy it. It's happened enough times. If I lose money on a stock it's because I made a decision to buy it. Duh!

@PMartinez1 Look, if for some reason you can't hold all hold some. I have occasionally sold π, but I always regret it. There are thousands of other stocks better suited for trading, as you did this morning with $PACK, as I did this morning with $TNDM. Some stocks are trades and others investments. I suggest you consider $AAPL π an investment. You'll build great amounts of wealth if you do...

@PMartinez1 Do yourself a favor, don't park your money in π. Leave it there. Trading πis the biggest mistake you can make. Hold it. Even if it goes down. It will recover. I got into π buying 120 shares. At the time it didn't even pay a dividend. I added very few shares since. Yet today I own over 2900 shares, almost all due to stock splits (7 for 1 and another 4 for 1) and reinvested dividends. I get more returned to me annually by dividends then the cost of my investment. π takes care of it's shareholders. No matter how much you make on a quick trade, it will never make up for the wealth you'll miss out on if you sell π. Long $AAPL $PACK

$PACK Added some today. My thoughts are that the price pops significantly due to Christmas orders and gifts. I believe $AMZN uses this companies paper in shipping, so it will protect the environment by reducing the use of plastic shipping material.

$PACK If this drops under $6.80 I'm buying more. I hate plastic. It's toxic. It's evil to add it to the environment knowing what we now know. $PACK is creating an alternative to plastic packaging. My understanding is that $AMZN is using $PACK paper type fillers to replace plastic fillers in some of their shipped products.

@thelasthope @happystockhunter I don't like plastic either. But it is used in everything. It makes no sense to single out $CMG for plastic when all other fast food and even supermarket packaged food you buy to cook at home use plastic. I actually do make most meals at home. I try to buy stuff in glass, but many products don't have that option. Everything has too much plastic. One company trying to go reduce the use of plastics you might look at is $PACK

@Hieronymo @holijoe What's your motive for being in GEVO? Just to make money flipping pennies? Or do you care about the planet and want to make your money while making the world a better place with safe renewable energy? If you care about the latter GEVO isn't the place to be. It's a scam. Try companies like $BEPC or $FSLR they actually make a difference. Or companies that profit from cleaning and supplying clean water like $GWRS or companies contributing to reducing the use of plastics, like $PACK...
