$TSLY probably makes to get out of this before the rs and rebuy in a month for tax purposes. I see this at $7($14) by end of the month. Sold to buy more $MO at $40.35 which will skyrocket once there are signs of rate cuts or a pull back in tech

User Image kensingtonlane Posted - 1 day ago

$MO Looking for some follow through today above 41. At least inter-day. FYI a pps of 43.555 equals exactly a 9% yield with dividend unchanged. Let the buy backs begin. I strongly believe corporate wants the yield to go into the 8%~8.5% realm. You do the math.

Good lord $MO looks awful on the monthly. under the 50 month for first time since 08 and bear flagging under the 200month since the late 90s.

$MO props to @kensingtonlane on the call. I was for sure expecting us to fall below $40 today on the Nvidia report

User Image Wiseman55 Posted - 2 days ago

$MO more ruminating on AI and value. I noticed in recent days a lot of shittier companies and AI plays have gotten wrecked but Nvidia's ER may have changed the dynamics of the market generally. It's not just about AI anymore but successfully profiting from it and the market is beginning to reward the difference. As a result, it could start rewarding profit making again more generally across sectors and industries.

$MO We love you .... now fly baby please

User Image Wiseman55 Posted - 2 days ago

$MO now that it's starting to actually make money, I wonder if the market is going to start taking a more mature approach to AI as a rising tide at some point. Every industry will use it to reduce costs and improve quality control at some point.

$MO perplexity I'm liking it more and more. https://www.perplexity.ai/search/will-Phillip-Morris-eph4EpjQR7itcN8rXiBukw?s=u I got a kick out of this 2021 Forbes story "Why Cannabis Is Part Of The Future Of Big Tobacco" --- pot stocks were the one hellish bubble. https://www.forbes.com/sites/dariosabaghi/2021/08/02/cannabis-is-part-of-the-future-of-big-tobacco/?sh=58d9c46071ed anyway, started a long position in $MO Earnings are out of the way (popped and dropped) and hopefully it is a support. $MO Chart wise I don't any evidence that MO entering the marijuana market bigely should it be decrimilized by Biden Admin, etc.

User Image TI7812 Posted - 2 days ago

$MO All I could think of when I read this story was...what a great reason for Wall Street and pension funds to embrace a nasty tobacco company. https://nypost.com/2024/02/21/lifestyle/marijuana-contamination-linked-to-life-threatening-conditions-and-even-legal-weed-can-be-unsafe/

User Image PortfoliosMatter Posted - 2 days ago

$CRON thanks to $MO will dominate the Marijuana industry one day. I see huge opportunity here once the news cycles decide to talk about something other than AI. Short term - 🤷‍♂️ Long Term - 🚀

User Image kensingtonlane Posted - 2 days ago

$MO I’m feeling good in general about the “Nividia effect” and feel it will translate to a continuing bullish sentiment tomorrow and through this quarter. I see MO at 42.50 well before ex dividend date in March. The idea of a bubble in tech is now lessened considerably with these NVDA earnings.

User Image Wiseman55 Posted - 3 days ago

$MO Amazon in the DJIA will mean that big tech pretty much dominates every index now. May start to see large swaths of non-tech sectors from healthcare to financials and consumer staples become entirely disconnected from index movement in any direction.

User Image Dlpfcb Posted - 4 days ago

$MO Why are we down 7% AH?

User Image Wiseman55 Posted - 4 days ago

$MO algos still got this programmed to sell on every little pop to dip buy big tech. Bad Nvidia earnings will likely change that.
