$LJPC La Jolla Pharmaceutical Company (NASDAQ:LJPC): Navigating the Complexities of the Pharmaceutical Landscape http://beyondspx.com/2024/08/03/la-jolla-pharmaceutical-company-nasdaqljpc-navigating-the-complexities-of-the-pharmaceutical-landscape/

@Qutiaw @CanadianDreamcast when i read this study several years back i compared vs soc and it was being compared against soc + the scd. So basically it was added to the normal procedure for handling these cases and i had trouble finding how they could really prove there was any benefit in using the scd. I even had former ceo of $LJPC @georgetidmarsh comment on it and it didnt seem like he thought anything unique of it. If you remember ljpc was doing a drug for sepsis and a similar drug was approved for the same indication ahead causing them to miss the window. The experts know more about this stuff.

@the_shalashaska I agree! Vaguely reminds me of $LJPC before it was acquired... While I don't know if we will get the premium we are hoping for, the company is an excellent acquisition target, in my opinion.. Durable revenue streams with the opportunity to scale up. I imagine at least one group of investors would be interested...

$DMTTF $CELG $JUNO $LJPC Small Pharma buy-out complete in a string of massive value acquisitions. Next on tap $IFRX, hopefully near $50 per share! Kindest regards to all!

$ADMA When $LJPC was acquired for 6.23 a share, the article linked below mentioned the 30 day volume-weighted average share price when discussing the premium. I wonder if the current aggressive shorting of Adma is intended to lower the average share price to make an acquisition less expensive for a potential suitor. https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20220711005433/en/Innoviva-to-Acquire-La-Jolla-Pharmaceutical-Company

$ADMA I feel like many stocks trade in a boring range before being acquired. $CMPI $CCXI $LJPC Weren't these similarly trading in a boring sideways pattern before being acquired? Maybe not. My memory might not be accurate. I thought there was some similarity in trading action, though.

@VoxGeorge this is reminding me of $LJPC

User Image BeefStewart Posted - 1 year ago

$ADMA $CCXI $CMPI $LJPC Each of those tickers reminds me of adma for some reason. Feel free to take a look at how each of them traded prior to acquisition... Who knows? Certainly not me.

User Image BeefStewart Posted - 03/28/23

@VoxGeorge Right now, it's smelling like my cousin after she falls asleep for a week with a half-eaten party-sized pizza in her lap. But that said, I am of the mind that there are ongoing negotiations for some sort of merger or acquisition. My most basic reasoning is that they continue to engage Morgan Stanley, and continue to be majority owned by institutions who I believe would be motivated to quickly turn a profit on their investment. Additionally, looking back at past buyouts such as $LJPC, I believe their shares were trading kinda flat/sideways for at least a little while before being snapped up at a significant premium. This type of sideways action is unreasonable to me, and I suspect it is leading to something positive for us. That said, I have no idea 🤪

$ADMA to me, this is trading like it's going to be bought out. I am probably wrong, but the sharp price decline to below $3 suggests that a $6 buyout at a "100%" premium may be imminent... I'm kind of reminded of $LJPC when it was trading sideways, if memory serves correctly, before being bought out for over $6 at around a 100% premium.
