$CSCO $LIN LFG, expected this to move higher. Also, your thoughts on MYNZ? Who's behind the 30M share offering deal? ๐ And how could the Thermo Fisher (TMO) partnership ($210B market cap) reflect this stock movement and PR buzz everywhere on socials?

$PLUG Plug is losing cash by giving away hydrogen. While $LIN and other companies have grown at a slower pace, they focus on selling hydrogen profitably to maintain a sustainable business. Plug is the largest buyer of liquid hydrogen, sourcing it from these other companies. In my view, Plug is being overly aggressive, disrupting the hydrogen market and driving prices up by buying so much only to give it away in a way that risks their own failure. Now they are producing hydrogen since they messed with the hydrogen market and helped drive the price higher. For example Plug entered a contract to sell hydrogen at a quarter of the price offered by competitors, undercutting the competition. Plug lost it when they could not get a loan commitment for only 25 million. However, this strategy has resulted in such high spending that Plug became a going concern only saved my more dilutive agreements. This company is messy and deserves to fail.

$LIN Heads up alert! Upcoming Earnings on 10/31/2024 Neutral (5.5) Linde plc (NASDAQ:LIN) has been actively enhancing its operational footprint and shareholder returns, as reflected in its recent initiatives and announcements. The company has commenced the supply of industrial gases to PT Freeport Indonesia, signifying a strategic expansion into the mining sector, which aligns with Linde's goal of diversifying its customer base and revenue streams. Moreover, the declaration of a quarterly dividend of $1.39 per share not only highlights Linde's commitment to returning value to shareholders but also indicates strong cash flow generation capabilities. Financially, Linde has shown resilience with a trailing P/E ratio of approximately 32.3, which is slightly higher than the industry average of around 30, reflecting investor confidence in its growth trajectory. The companyโs earnings per share (EPS) growth rate is projected at 10% for the upcoming quarters, supported by its extensive investments in expanding gas supply agreements, such as the recent ones with Tata Steel Limited in India. Analysts are optimistic about Linde's revenue forecasts, estimating a growth rate of 6% year-over-year, which positions it favorably against peers like Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. Looking ahead to upcoming earnings reports, Linde is scheduled to release its third-quarter financial results on October 31, 2024. Analysts anticipate that the earnings will reflect continued growth, with consensus estimates projecting EPS of $3.20, marking a year-over-year increase. Historically, Linde has demonstrated strong performance, consistently beating analyst expectations, which bodes well for investor sentiment leading into this earnings release. The combination of robust operational expansions and a solid financial foundation suggests that Linde is poised for sustained growth, although external factors such as geopolitical tensions and commodity price fluctuations could pose risks. - Funds were net sellers of $LIN during the previous reporting quarter. - Top 5 funds with large holdings in $LIN: * Fayez Sarofim & Co $216MM. A trade in 2023 that absolutely wrecked so many people who had their guard down (only showing one of my accounts that got hit hard on it, others were joints and don't feel comfortable sharing but we sprayed the book up). $LIN was getting deleted from the Frankfurt Stock Exchange so we expected a lot of outflows on the close of their trading. In fact, we had the estimates. They were HUGE, though, I was taking someone else's word for it (mistake #1)! After some recency bias of a trade that a couple guys absolutely crushed that they kept hush-hush, $LIN came around just a couple weeks after and everyone wanted a piece. One of the guys who crushed the previous trade was sharing this next HUGE opp with everyone that would listen. As opposed to just a traditional opening/closing imbalance which many of us focus on, this had so many additional components (dual listed, being deleted, trading an imbalance "blind", delayed data, not a primary focus, no access to the data, don't fully understand the mechanics, trusting someone else). So many of us were really piled into this one expecting a big flush out on the close of the Frankfurt Exchange and instead, their market closed and the exact opposite happened. Instead of outflows in the US, there were major inflows. But because this isn't a traditional imb, there was no data from the "floor" to go off of. Thankfully, all of my accounts got out with some hard stops spraying the book up, but many weren't so lucky. Nonetheless, it was still a big rip that day. It was a great lesson, but more so a good reminder. If you don't have the data, if the trade isn't yours, and if you are feeling overly aggressive due to some recency bias as opposed to what the opp truly is worth, need to be careful. It's better to skip often. Here's an old article on the mechanics of it all: https://www.linde.com/news-and-media/2023/linde-plc-linde-completes-delisting-from-frankfurt-stock-exchange
