$UPST $UPST so here we are… on the count of $META earnings being bad, the market finds an excuse to take some profits tomorrow. Only to be up (probably) on Friday after $GOOG and $MSFT report tomorrow plus latest PCE showing core inflation is heading down.

$GOOG people you need to think. Last year was a transition year for the big tech like Google. It was the first year after Covid. Re-focus and reshape the company was important and comparable will be stronger this year. Meta is falling flat because of their entire Meta Verse focus is bleeding money at this point. There earnings has no reference to GOOGLE or Amazon and even Microsoft. Google has FTC concerns and EURO communist Concerns and etc. However, Google and Apple are a force . AI focus is where it’s at. They have everything else in place. Meta has done well however their focus on the meta verse may be premature and instead push their spend on AI.

PCE Preferred Gauge by the feds reports on Friday 830am: Core: Prev 2.8, Exp 2.6 PCE: Prev 2.5, Exp 2.6 I believe it'll all come in line which is welcoming. $SPY If you're going to hold calls/puts on $SPY $QQQ earnings tomorrow for $MSFT $GOOG good consider ramifications of PCE reading Friday morning too. It'll be tricky.
