@Vetiver right-click the slider bar in the lower right corner and select 'past year' to get a view of a longer time frame. You could also double-click the slider bar and enter the number of trading days manually (253 for the past year). We can then see that $EARN $EIC and $OXLC are fairly even with returns with and without dividends. Double-click again and enter '504' for the past 2 years 11/22/22 to 11/22/24 and we can see the change over time. If we repeat the procedure and instead type in '756' we get another perspective. EARN is now negative on both metrics while the other 2 are still showing positive return with dividends even with negative returns without dividends for the past 3 years from 11/22/21 to 11/22/24. Right-click the slider bar again and select 'all' to get a look at longest possible time frame common to all symbols being charted. Here we see the past 1345 trading days from mid-2019 to the present. EARN does slightly better than OXLC, but EIC is best.

@Vetiver Once there, we see the period of 200 trading days displayed as a histogram and also comparing returns both with and without dividends. $EARN shows accretive activity in both respects, while both $EIC and $OXLC show a slightly negative return without dividends but still positive with them

@Vetiver if you look at the chart, you see that over the past 200 trading days $EARN has been on a little bit of a tear, but click the 'show histogram' button on the lower left for a better perspective and comparison with $EIC and $OXLC https://stockcharts.com/freecharts/perf.php?_EARN,EARN,_EIC,EIC,_OXLC,OXLC&n=200&O=011000

@Vetiver $EARN had a nice pop in the Spring but has been rather flat to underperforming of late. $OXLC has seen better returns over a longer time frame and so has $EIC

$EARN has some nice dividends at 13.93% paid monthly. $ORC is another nice buy with dividends at 17.57% paid monthly. After all this volatility, stocking up on dividend stocks.
