🚌 $PPSI Good news, really. The first category of vehicles where the EVs will prevail are the buses and especially the school buses. - In June, PPSI received an initial $7.1M order for 25 e-Boost Mobile. These e-Boost will serve 200 EV school buses. - With the 75% of school buses replaced with EV in a fleet of 500,000 buses across U.S., more than 46,000 mobile units will be needed, except the other chargers. That is an amount of $15 BILLION for fast-charging mobile chargers in the next 10 years! A huge market without many players for this specific type of charging units. $AUR hello all. based on what i've read/seen from CES 2024, kodiak ($LAZR LIDAR) is our biggest competitor, with torc robotics ($AEVA LIDAR), a subsidiary of $DMLRY, a distant third. the key question becomes: how are we differentiating ourselves? thank you.

$PCAR Just stumbled upon this company. Just the kind of boring company I like for the low risk side of my portfolio. I'll keep digging into this one but perhaps someone on here can tell me. I see that Peterbilt and Kenworth hold approx 30% of the class 8 truck market share in North America, and are also moving quickly into mass production and distribution of its trucks, which is intended for 2024/5. Exciting stuff! I see also that Daimler $DMLRY has 37% class 8 market share, but I'm curious what plans they have for their hydrogen fuel cell trucks? In short, how would folks on here compare the two companies (Paccar and Daimler) in terms of their future sales, given we are moving rapidly toward decarbonization and a shifting sentiment toward clean energy.

$REE $DMLRY The Hino diesel truck catalytic converter recall happened last year. Why bring this up a year after the fact? This year-old Hino recall cannot even tangentially affect REE. On ACTUAL news... Hino recently announced their merger with Fuso for joint development, procurement and production (but not sales) of trucks. Mitsubishi Fuso is owned by Daimler which also owns Rizon trucks, which are direct competitors of REE at the class 4 and 5 EV truck space. Rizon makes the E16 (class 4, like REE P7-C) and E18 (class 5, like Proxima). Rizon trucks have shorter range and lower maximum cargo weight than equivalent REE trucks. Rizon trucks are worse almost across the board with a lot of legacy ICE design mentality. https://rizontrackteasersite.blob.core.windows.net/rizon-prod-web/2019/09/RIZON-Brochure.pdf Will this affect the REE-Hino-Mitsubishi relationship? Probably not. If Mitsubishi was willing to provide REE with financing before, it should be willing to continue at least for the short term.

$TSLA $SPY $DMLRY Damn! Benz has weak hands. They’re weaksauce.
Tesla is the leader in the EV race with startups and legacy automakers playing a catch up. Daimler had picked up a 9%+ stake in Tesla in 2019 but eventually liquidated its entire holding.

This is my first post about a squeeze because it is inevitable we will see 5 to 10 dollars a share by friday the 28th if not sooner.
