$DAC Nobody's looking at this great company trading at 0.46% of book value with little debt and killer margins. The whole sector is in the tank at the moment, and smart value guys should be loading up the truck. I'm in a big selling mood in general, but I've been buying this gem.

$DAC fairly solid quarter, as expected. Raising dividends and buying back stock, can't complain. High safety margin at this level.

$DAC Danaos reports Q3 adjusted EPS $6.50 vs. $7.26 last year Reports Q3 revenue $256.2M vs. $239.2M last year. Danaos' CEO Dr. John Coustas commented: "The container market remained very strong in the third quarter of 2024, allowing us to add over $300 million to our contracted charter backlog which presently stands at $3.3 billion. Importantly, all 14 of our newbuildings on order are fixed for 5 years, except for two that are fixed for 2 years. We have excellent earnings visibility as we have covered 100% of our container vessel fleet operating days for 2024, 94% for 2025 and 73% for 2026. The dry bulk market has been uncharacteristically soft lately, which can be attributed to a disruption of seasonal patterns throughout the year as well as a decrease in Chinese steel production. Our dry bulk fleet performed reasonably well during the quarter, and we are expecting freight rates to gradually improve as we move into 2025."

$DAC Quick stock overview:
1. The company pays dividends;
2. It also buys back its shares;
3. Sales are growing, and the net margin too;
4. The balance sheet is somewhat good;
5. But the free cash flow lacks consistency.

$DAC Danaos reports Q2 adjusted EPS $6.78 vs. $7.14 lst year. Reports Q2 revenue $246.31M vs. $241.48M last year. Danaos' CEO Dr. John Coustas commented, "The last few months brought continued market disruption as conditions in the Red Sea remained challenged and the Ukraine war persisted. Panama canal crossings, however, returned to normal levels, eliminating that source of disruption for now. Market conditions have led liner companies to reassess their capacity requirement and rushed to secure tonnage, including tonnage with forward deliveries. The forthcoming environmental legislation has further incentivized liner companies to secure modern newbuilding tonnage for medium term requirements without making long-term commitments in the majority of cases. In this environment we have secured charter extensions for a number of our existing ships and further we extended our newbuilding program to a total of 20 vessels, three of which were delivered in the second quarter. We have secured multi-year charters with an average charter duration of approximately 4.5 years, weighted by aggregate contracted charter hire, for all of our newbuilding vessels and we are very well positioned for the future. As a result, the Company's total contracted cash operating revenues are $3.2B. Contracted charter coverage for our container vessel fleet, including newbuildings, is currently 99% for 2024 and 80% for 2025, providing us excellent revenue visibility."
