In 2011/2013 for profit colleges made money hand over first for one reason; they were subsidized by the US Government via student loans which meant anyone with a heartbeat was approved to go to College - once that stopped Corinthian, University of Phoenix and many others revenues dropped ($APOL) went private and others BK. Right now, the used car industry has been fueled by lax lending standards (some cars at 120 months) but when that lending dries up so do the car sales and tricks that come a long with it. This is a good video from a friend explaining just part of it but it extrapolates out further than this. @Pep1234 No offense but you're assumptions are wrong - the car auction business (and this is not subjecitive) is not easy to get into: Cox Auto / Mannheim and $ACVA control a lot of them and the ones that are not controlled Cox and Mannheim buy up and its very competitive. As for creating another loan company like Bridgecrest or Westlake, no, its not that easy - as far as scam goes you need to articulate what part is a scam because there are a lot of parts that are I just don't understand what you're trying to say.

$ACVA worked in building with this company up until 4/1 of this year. Their owner is an idiot and can't even figure out how to get his car in the parking lot across the street but I will say the amount of titles getting delivered is insane. Everyday FedEx there 3-4 times with boxes and boxes. Need to lower expenditures, they waste money like crazy.
